"Flourish - Maximize Individual Strengths, Create Stronger Collaborative Teams“ with Mea Austin
Developing your strengths – the things you’re good at and actually enjoy doing – makes it eighteen times more likely you’ll describe yourself as “flourishing” at work? (Psychology today 2016.)
Most of us worry about getting rid of our weaknesses. The truth is, you may never overcome your weaknesses, but you can make significant changes in the way you live and work that allow you to flourish. As an authorized Licensee of the Culture Index TM, I provide each individual attendee with objective data about the way they think and behave. Each participant receives concrete tools and coaching to help them use their strengths to thrive at work, and at home. We will discover how to take those individual strengths to increase the ability of your team/group to communicate and collaborate. This program will maximize the results of teams and allow individuals to flourish.

NEW! Business Partners
Video Opportunity in 2020Take advantage of this offer to provide 1 or more educational videos during 2020. This is a new, creative way to share educational tips with our GKC MGMA members in short video clips (3-10 minutes length).
Business Partners who participate in this educational opportunity will be listed as an “Education Sponsor” for the tenure of their commitment. All partners are eligible to participate.
We hope this idea will be beneficial to both partners and managers: visibility for our partners, and an innovative way to share info with our members on the run: via iPhone, laptop, etc. Skies the limit. Let’s try it!
All partners interested in providing videos agree to abide by the terms of the agreement for 2020, see link below to review. If interested in the offering, please read the policy and choose from the options. GKC BP Policy - Partner Sponsorship of Education Videos.pdf

December Meeting RecapWe are so glad Stacy Harper JD is back in KC with her special presentation style. GKC members were very lucky to hear about aspects of STARK from many perspectives. During the Annual Business Meeting the 2020 Board of Directors was approved to start Jan. 1. Door prizes and monthly highlighted BP brought smiles.
Scott Mason gave a brief update on Rose Brooks’ work in our community. Jennifer presented Scott with GKC MGMA’s donation and many members and guests also contributed to support their mission. Happy Holidays to you all.
