HARKNESSHOUSE‐Thistransitionalhousingprogramprovidessupportto14maleVeterans.Theprimarygoalistofacilitatethesuccessfultransitionofhomelessadultsintostableandaffordablepermanenthousingwhileprovidingthemwiththeskillsneededtokeepthemhousedandindependent.HarknessHouseispartofColumbusHouse’sHomefrontinitiativetosupportVeteranswhoarehomeless.OntheMove‐transitionalhousingprogramfor20menlocatedonthe3rdfloorofthemainshelter.Clientscanstayintheprogramforuptoayearwhiletheylearnbasiclifeskillsthatwillenablethemtolivemoreindependently.Thisprogramoffersprivaterooms,meals,andcasemanagementservices.SojournersPlace‐providesuptotwoyearsoftransitionalhousingfor15womenwhoarediagnosedwithbothmentalhealthandaddictiondisorders.
