The Green Sustainable Award

The Green Sustainability Award, is the premier environmental award for business, industry and individual mainly from Penang. It is open for others in Malaysia as long as the company product or individual contributes to Penang, with the view of recognizing and bringing Green Talents and Industry to Penang from all over Malaysia.

A Certificate and/or Plaque of Participation

Eligibility to use the Award’s logo for publicity purposes at the specific year.

Eligibility to attend one free, one-day seminar/briefing/workshop on sustainable development organized by the organisers

Classification for Participation

Nomination and Participation is open to 4 categories of participants:

Large Enterprises -- Companies with full time employees exceeding 150 or with annual sales turnover exceeding RM25 million.

Small and Medium Enterprises -- Manufacturing (including Agro-Based) & Manufacturing-Related Services (Companies with full time employees not exceeding 150 or with annual sales turnover not exceeding RM25 million)

Special Achievement Award for the nominated Green Personality- For passionate and committed

individual or a team of people who are working towards a better environment for the community.

Student Award for Green Student Award – For passionate and committed students studying in

institution of higher learning (private or government), who are working towards a better environment for

the community.

Application Fees

1. Large Enterprises: RM800 per application 2. SMEs: RM 350 per application 3. Green Personality : RM250 per application 4. Green Student : FOC per application
