Study the trees in summer, get to know their properties, places they grow & the use of their timber. Harvest green willow rods to make into small hurdles (panels) and convert small diameter coppiced wood into stool legs, spoons and similar items. Day 1 - Study how to identify trees and learn uses of timber. Fell trees in the wood and stack for processing.
Day 2 - Sort out felled wood, cleave and make different items according to individual choice.

Malcom Lemmon is an experienced woodman, green woodworker and coppice worker with many years of practice in green building and woodland management.
Margaret Colquhoun is a co-founder of the Pishwanton Project of the Life Science Trust, and currently runs and teaches within the College for Goetheanism.
From: 10 am to 4 pm. Costs: £60 (£45 Concessions) per day includes tuition, refreshments & all materials Course suitable for people with special needs.
