The upcoming edition of this high-profile beach ultimate frisbee event weekend will attract more than 1,000 participants, volunteers and spectators between the ages of 21 and 41, an average age of 28 and 40% female. Our event also focuses on philanthropy with an extended relationship with Chicago-based Imerman Angels to raise awareness and funds for their efforts providing mentorship for cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers. They service the entire country with more information available at www.imermanangels.org. The event activities will be hosted in JULY 2020 at Montrose Beach on the north side of downtown Chicago during the days and an evening celebration with beverages, music and games hosted in Wrigleyville in 2019. Based on our success, we have earned an increasing amount of past media exposure on-line, in-print and targeted promotions inside our partners’ facilities at Potbelly’s, Fitness Formula Clubs and NovaCare Rehabilitation Centers. Promotional samples in the appendix of this document include past coverage in Sports Illustrated, Yelp.com, Kiss 103.5, Time Out Chicago, RedEye and The Onion among others. Ultimate Chicago Sandblast has more than 2,000 Facebook likes, a growing Instagram presence and 20,000+ views of our event website in the 60 days around our weekend. Event surveys show that more than 97% of our event attendees are engaged with social media AT LEAST ONCE, 70% multiple times in a day with Facebook as primary source for 60%. Event surveys also have shown that participants are 23% MORE LIKELY (as high as 44%) to support our sponsoring partners immediately after the event. • Having different sponsors is really cool because I think I am more likely to find things I haven't heard about yet and

am more likely to use them or purchase them in the future.

• One of the best parts of ultimate tournaments are the different companies that help sponsor the event and allow

for a better experience as a participant, which is what these sponsors were able to provide for me at sandblast.

• Sandblast wouldn't be the same without the sponsors. It's a big part of the appeal and overall I think I lean towards

supporting them with purchases due to their presence.

• People were kind, products were fun to try and many of them were delicious and new to me. I always enjoy

exploring TC to see what sponsors share with us.

• Having Sponsors at the event is great getting to try new things is great and it allows people to have energy for playing

throughout the tournament.

Chicago’s Most Popular Beach Ultimate Frisbee Event Who: Ultimate Chicago Sandblast What: Co-ed beach ultimate Frisbee tournament going into its eighth year bringing together

participants from across the United States and the globe to enjoy this ultimate Frisbee experience. Our experience brings participants together for athletic exhibitions, entertainment by performers and demonstrations by food purveyors and craftspeople.

Where: Montrose Beach, one of the largest beaches in Chicago, located East of Lake Shore Drive and

North of Irving Park Road When: Saturday – Tournament Action Begins, 8 am to 5:30 pm

Saturday – Tournament Party Begins, 7 pm to midnight Sunday – Tournament Action Resumes, 8 am to 3 pm Sunday – Tournament Championship, 3 pm to 5 pm

Tickets: There is no charge for anyone to attend the event as a spectator. The teams pay a group

registration fee that includes participation, food and drinks on the beach, beverages at the party, player pack with official keepsake item.

Benefits: We are proud to support Imerman Angels as our charitable beneficiary that provides

personalized connections that enable 1-on-1 support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers.

Imerman Angels carefully matches and individually pairs a person touched by cancer (a cancer fighter or survivor) with someone who has fought and survived the same type of cancer (a Mentor Angel). Cancer

caregivers (spouses, parents, children and other family and friends of fighters) also receive 1-on-1 connections with other caregivers and survivors.

These 1-on-1 relationships inspire hope and offer the chance to ask personal questions and receive support from someone who is uniquely familiar with the experience. The service is absolutely free and helps anyone

touched by any type of cancer, at any cancer stage level, at any age, living anywhere in the world.
