The year has flown so quickly by and our children are all flourishing. We look forward to another action-packed term of learning and fun. Well done to all who participated in our Talent Quest held at the end of last term. Contestants were talented and brave. Thanks to our SRC organisers and to Mr. T. for helping with the music. It was great to have so many visitors, especially grand friends. Thanks to all who collected Earn and Learnstickers for the school. We have been able to order science resources and gardening equipment for the children to use in our school vegetable garden. Classes are busy preparing for the Gresford Historical Societys Back To Gresfordday on 22nd October. The day commences at the Therese Doyle Centre from 9am to 2pm with our childrens digital presentation of the history of the school and a performance of The Maypole Dance.We look forward to your attendance. The Gresford Community Group has also invited the school to participate in a family country dance which they are organising for 4 th November. The children will be learning a line dance which they will perform on the evening. See the flyer attached to this newsletter. We had senior students participating in the Dungog District Community of Schools Gifted and Talented Robotics Program Principals message during last term. The program was run by Andrew Lyell from Newcastle University and our own technology teacher, Mrs. Manning. Our students are becoming very competent coders, an important skill for 21 st century learners. Enjoy the final term! Banking Cents When making a deposit please make sure

you fill out the deposit slip with all the details, especially the amount. This will

prevent any discrepancy occurring.

Remember Thursday is banking day.

Professional Learning for staff has been in the

areas of data analysis, school planning, literacy and numeracy

assessment and first aid/anaphylaxis.

School of Arts Hall East Gresford starting at

6.30pm.
