OVERVIEW We are a four decade old company, well settled in the apparel industry. Our mission is to provide apparel requirements at a single source. We are a

committed believer in KAIZEN- the Japanese notion, through which we practice

continuous improvement.

Ever since our inception, we’ve grown consistently, year after year-thanks to our

focus on value addition at every stage. The range of services we provide

comprehensively covers a host of our customers’ requirements right from sourcing

yarn to production of almost any garment. We are an ISO (International Standard Organization) 9001:2008 rated factory. We

are approved by SGS for SEDEX with the highest rating (green) for social and

technical compliance. Our designing and production capabilities using advanced computerized

equipment have been recognized and appreciated by our international

customers.

Our strength comprises in taking challenges to produce fabrics which are very

unique & technical. Our qualified design team constantly researches and develops

new fabrics keeping in line and ahead of emerging fashion trends from the

European, American and Japanese markets. At the same time, we can also fall

back on traditional weaving techniques- depending on our customers’

requirements.

Our design team assists the buyer to select and design the right fabric for their

garment. Our state of the art in house CAD facility for woven designs and prints and

our in house Desk Loom making facility enables us to create a sample of the fabric

desired from our exhaustive stock of over 5000 colors of yarn in a wide variety of

materials that includes cotton, polyester, rayon, linen among others-and that too,

within a few days; thereby providing an actual representation of the customers

visualization instantly.

Our merchandisers help you engineer the perfect garment by then assisting you

with a variety of options to co-ordinate and assemble the desired material for your

garment. A full-fledged sampling division will then manufacture a prototype to

enable you visualizes the finished output. No matter how complex the garment, our

in-house Washing, Screen Printing, Embroidery and Garment Dyeing divisions

ensure the quickest turnaround of your sample in order to help you make a quick

decision.

OPERATIONS Grey’s Exim Pvt Ltd is headquartered in Mumbai, India. Mumbai has been the

commercial hub of India and GEPL’s foundation here offers an unparalleled

advantage of being in the center of trade and unique textiles. With our sourcing

operations out of Mumbai, we also manage to attain the best of all parts of the

country- whether it is specialized fabrics of the south, or handiwork of the west or

even accessories from the north- Mumbai is the place where all these come

together. Corporate administration and banking are also controlled from our

Mumbai office. Our strong relationship with the bank is the main reason why we

continue to facilitate all our financial transactions from the Mumbai office. Grey’s Exim Pvt Ltd, Tirupur was established in 1995. The southern part of India is

known for its ability to produce specially woven fabrics- whether it is knits or

wovens; the South is proficient with complexly woven fabrics, the construction and

quality of which most other parts of the world fail to match up to. Thus, our fabric

sourcing bureau in Tirupur has access to the heartland of some of the leading

fabric producers of the country. Our clothing manufacturing facility in Bangalore- Grey’s Exim Pvt Ltd, is located in what

is considered to be one of the largest industrial areas of the country-Peenya. This unit

was established in 2004- after several years of our manufacturing based in Mumbai.

Due to favorable conditions provided by the state government in Karnataka, the move

to Bangalore was made in to a larger; 42000 square foot premise. Here, we have the

capability of manufacturing just under 200,000 garments every month: over a 120000

woven garments and about 60000 knits garments- including men’s, women’s as well as

kids’ clothing: shirts,

t-shirts, dresses, skirts, trousers, walkshorts, jackets, scarves and other

accessories. Due to the advantage of having a large facility, we can boast of a lot of

additional services that we house within our premise- from desk loom making

equipment, to printing and washing and embroidery.

With the use of top of the line computerized embroidery machines, we are

equipped to fulfill most embroidery requirements of our customers.

As for print requirements, we use table printing as well as house a circular- piece

printing machine- to enable us for garment as well as sampling fabric printing

requirements. Finally, we have the ability of offering all kinds of washes done under our trained,

technical washing team.

In order to maintain highest levels of quality standards, we ensure that every roll of

fabric that comes in is individually checked by our team of expert fabric technicians-

for quality and consistency. The fabric is also checked for any minor deficiencies at

the cutting stage, as well as garment production stage- besides the final QA

checks- to ensure top-most quality is offered to our valued customers.

Similarly, to adhere to international standards of highest quality, we perform strict

checks on every individual part – which is numbered to ensure that all components

are assembled correctly. We follow the 2.5 AQL standard for garments- which is

followed worldwide across all segments. Vigilant checks through the conversion

process- with check points at cutting, stitching, along with stringent checks before

packing each garment enable us to abide by these high standards. To ensure that

there is no metal particle in the garment, every piece that is produced goes through

the metal detector and we can assure our customers of strict quality controls in this

aspect.

Ours is an environmentally conscious unit that is approved by world renowned

certifying agencies like the International Standards Organization- ISO and

SEDEX for its responsible corporate, social and ethical functioning.

Over the last couple of years, we have also established operations in Los Angeles,

California and London, England in order to be able to efficiently cater to all our

customers’ needs; as well as to gain an edge over other manufacturers across the

world- by providing relevant design insights by renowned designers in the industry

in the US and UK respectively.

ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT AND SOCIAL AWARENESS Keeping in mind the global ecological requirements, we have adapted our

organization to conduct environmentally responsible activities.

With an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) set up within the factory premise, the solid

waste that is emitted is treated based on a reverse osmosis technique. This is then

used as fertilizer for the gardens that surround the factory building. Similarly, even

waste water is treated in the water recycling plant and re-used for gardening

purposes. We strive to collaborate with environmentally conscious suppliers- who use the

most eco-friendly methods for weaving fabrics, organic dyes, and fair labor

practices.

Within our premise, we surpass industry social standards- by offering subsidized

meals to our workers and staff, providing a crèche and a day care center for all

workers’ children under the age of 6 years; as well as providing the most favorable

working conditions- to optimize worker satisfaction at the same time as ensuring

maximum efficiency. We also provide complimentary pick-up and drop service to

our workers. The on-site nurse and doctor ensure well-being of the workers and if

they suffer any ailments, these are treated instantaneously.
