ObjectiveThe Greyhound Fleet Manager keeps track the information about the Vehicles, Maintenance, Repair, Parts, Employees, Location and Vendors. It also keeps track the maintenance performed for different vehicles which are used for transportation The main objectives of this system are to provide best services to their customer, increasing working capacity, accuracy in calculation, better maintenance of the organization resources, up-to-date information accessibility and many more

Existing SystemManaging huge Fleet information manually is a tedious and error prone task.In order to schedule vehicles as well as staff, we the scheduler should not how many vehicles are there on board and available for allocation.Keeping track of repair information is a must as some times vehicles might be referred for insurance.All these thing can not be achieved in existing system.

Proposed SystemIn order to avoid the limitations in the existing system, the current system is being developed. All vehicle details will be automated along with the staff information. Scheduling of trips and repair information is being fully automated to overcome chaos in the system.

Software RequirementsThe software used in this project is: OS : Windows XP/Vista. Technologies : ASP.NET with VB.NET Data Base : MS-SQL Server 2005IDE : MS-Visual Studio .NET2008Browser : Internet Explorer

Hardware Requirements The Hardware used in this project is: RAM : 1 GB Min(2 GB Recommended). Processor : P-IV Processor. Hard Disk : 20 GB(40 GB Recommended)

ModulesIt contains 8 modules Vehicle Employee Information Maintenance Location Repair Vendor Parts Reports

Vehicle ModuleAdding vehicles and/or equipment is a simple process and doesnt require a wealth of information. As long as we have the year, make, model, current Mi/Km/Hr and the base information, that is all you need. We can add a vehicle with the most basic information.

Maintenance ModuleThis module keeps track of the maintenance information.

Employee InformationThe application will keep track of many details include Employee number, Name, personal information, License Information. It also allows you to edit your Employee Information. Under this module there will be facility to add, delete, Modify the information regarding Employee.

LocationIn this module the information related to the different branch of the organization can be maintained. Suppose new branch has to be open or exiting branch has to be close. Here we can configure the existing branch of the organization like some changes is required that we can performed

RepairIn this module the task related to repair maintenance performed on the vehicle can be managed. Here the entire repair performed on a particular vehicle will be managed. It keeps track of schedule repair for a particular vehicle that is help full for the employee. When a vehicle come for repair, we can know all the detail of the repair performed, schedule repairing information can get after knowing the vehicle id only.

Vendorthis modules deals with managing information for vendor, adding vendor details, deleting vendor details, viewing information of vendor.

PartsHere we can maintain the adding and deleting and viewing the individual vehicle parts
