Div 2 – 3km combined with Senior School Series (Male and Female run together)

Type of race: Sealed handicap for club members in the School Series events, handicapped for the Div

1- 6km race

Course Description: Short courses are pleasant grass and flat gravel trails around the lake. Long

course includes a loop road run around Alpine Crescent and Waldhorn Drive.

Club members who are running out of their usual

division to compete in the School series event, do

not need to run two races to gain their consistency

points. They will be awarded 10 consistency

points in their regular division automatically.

How to get there: Travel along the West Tamar Highway, past Legana. Either turn left into Atkinsons road or into

Waldhorn Drive. Turn into Alpine crescent. 26 Alpine Crescent is down internal road to the Lake

and Grindelwald Chapel

Event 1.5km: Around the lake following the fence line, then return via path. Great view for parents today

Event 3km As per the 1.5km (around the lake and return) but do it twice. Starting a little further up the hill to

allow for the loop

Event: 6km Course Description: One lap around the lake as er the 1.5k course then on secont lap, exit as

instructed by marshall and follow alpine crescent to the right. Do a full lap of the road then re-enter

the lake via the same route.
