Group 27

The Problem• People who need to prepare food for large
events do not have a centralized location for recipes and catering information.
• Recipe and catering information are spread out all over the place!
196 Recipes on The New Dishgracepoint Dishgracepoint
71 Recipes Dishgracepoint
60+ Recipes
45+ Recipes in 4 Recipes by Gmail Accounts Telephone
Users Before• A LARGE GROUP FOOD MANAGER would call
one of the directors of the church to ask about a recipe or be lost and hopeless in searching through countless Gmail emails.
• A DISH-GRACEPOINT ADMINISTRATOR didn’t really exist for the past year and as a result, many recipes were in different formats.
Users After
• A LARGE GROUP FOOD MANAGER can determine what meal is best suited for their needs by filtering according to price per person and finding where to buy their items.
• A DISH-GRACEPOINT ADMINISTRATOR can log in to the admin panel to add, edit, delete recipes, meals, cooking tips, ingredients, and locations.
Core Features• Browsing, searching and viewing large group
meals and recipes, sortable by price and type (main, side, salad, soup, dessert)
• Scaling meals and recipes according to the size group that the user is planning for
• Adding, editing and deleting recipes, meals, ingredients and cooking tips as an administrator
Lessons• Patience and persistence is required in
dealing with customers• Pivotal Tracker was an incredible tool to
split up tasks and ensure productivity• Daily scrums would have increased
efficiency in development
Future Plans• Migrate our newly made “Dish
Gracepoint” application to existing site• Continually add recipes and meals in the
database• Train new Dish Gracepoint administrators
in how to administer the site
