The egg is the first stage of the butterfly. And also when they are in there it’s dangerus to the eggs because they can be eaten.

When the caterpillar comes out of the egg it has something to eat. It eats leaves to make it’s self big.

The caterpillar is now ready to form it’s new stage pupa.

It tries and tries to get his self in there.

Now the butterfly has came out of it’s pupa and now it can eat all it needs to. And after it will start to lay more eggs so it can start the cycle again
