LENS STYLESSINGLE VISION / BIFOCAL / TRIFOCALSingle vision lenses have one focal power throughout the entire lens. Bifocals andTrifocals provide distance correction and near-point accommodation for thosewho suffer from Presbyopia. Bifocals and Trifocals have visible segments that sepa-rate distance viewing from near-point viewing.
PROGRESSIVE ADDITION LENSES (PALS)Also known as “no-line bifocals”, PALs offernatural viewing with a smooth, uninterrupt-ed transition from one focus point to anoth-er. PALs are available in all lens materials aswell as Transitions and Polarized lensoptions. Carl Zeiss Vision brands are fea-tured in AOSafety programs.
SCRATCH RESISTANT COATING (SRC)All Polycarbonate lenses sold by AOSafety are supplied with SRC at no additionalcharge. It is advised to add the SRC option when ordering Single Vision, Bifocal orTrifocal Plastic lenses. All PAL Plastic lenses as well as Transitions and Polarized Plasticlenses sold by AOSafety include SRC at no additional cost.
ANTI-REFLECTIVE (AR) COATINGA multi-layer coating that eliminates ghost images and backside reflections. ARincreases light transmission by 8 – 12%, improving visual acuity and comfort.Especially effective for night driving, inspection tasks under fluorescent lighting andworking at a computer.
