Group Members Role

Mariam NawabMariam nominated herself to be the director of our production for various reasons, the main one being that she has directed previous productions, one of them being The Grindylow which was produced by Cold Blood Productions. Mariam is also a very organised, on-point, punctual person, so this has in fact helped the whole production team in knowing which stages we were at when filming.

Chloe WakelingChloe nominated herself to be the camera person as she has lots of experience with cameras, and she has been a camera person before in previous productions. Due to these reasons, Chloe believed that she would be most suitable to playing the role of a camera woman. Chloe also has great initiative when it comes to deciding which shots we should capture, and also knows how to shoot certain scenes from certain angles to make them look good.

Raman BahraRaman nominated himself to be the editor of our short film. We believed that Raman would be a good editor as he has previous experience with editing short films, and is good with technical things and computers. He was also familiar with the software that we were going to use to edit our film (final cut pro) which put him at a great advantage. Raman also played Amy’s gay boyfriend in our short film, as a group we believed that he would be most suited to the role of Amy’s gay boyfriend as in reality he is actually gay, so it would not be hard for him to act in a feminine manner/to play the role of a gay guy.

Amy Dunn

We decided to use Amy Dunn to play the role of the main character in our short film who is called Olivia. Amy has lots of experience when it comes to acting, she has a GCSE in Drama, and is currently completing a Drama A Level. Amy has also acted in various other short films, and has a good reputation for her acting skills. She is a highly recommended actress in the Drama department at the school/sixth form that we attend, so because of all of these reasons, we decided to elect Amy to play the main character in our short film.
