Architecture As a Discourse
Case for innovation
Architecture as a Sign
Architecture As a sign Architecture ought to be
seen as discourse due to it is a field which is better regarded as a practices and debates about the built environment.
Making dialogue between the
UK and China through underneath the folded landscape are exhibition spaces showing how Cities and nature come together in the UK.
ARCHITECTS AT

Computing in architecture
Computers, by
their nature, are superb analytical engines. They are efficient at information gathering and solving design problem.

Computational
process innovation consists in the possibility of extending the related performance to range of geometries.

Computing in architecture
Computational design allowed
designers to preview the digital images of the actual project.
Seroussi pavilion was
“grown” out of self-modifying patterns of vectors based on electro-magnetic fields (EMF).
It is a project that
embodies overlapping employment of a number of scripting cultures and design philosophies.
Within this scripting
culture, designers are dependent on an optimistic outlook on scripting as a new tool which potentials and possibilities are still being investigated and discovered.

Parametric modelling
The use of vegetation works together with
the parametric design functioned as ornamentation to the building. Parametric design here creates a dynamic surface instead of a flat façade.

The above variational exploration is an example of a search process
known as a depth first method which is relative to the exploration of a candidate solution to its logical conclusion. Our groups design intent is focused on natural occurrences at this stage and we are
interested in emergent forms and generative systems. Hence, in regards to the EOI, it is important to understand that the search
process for the Gateway Project for Wyndham city can produce more optimal outcomes and design solutions. Depending on the search
method as specified by Kalay’s reading it is apparent that computational design has much more innovative and possible candidate
solutions for consideration.

The design of
space is conceptualized around the division, on the z axis, between the ceiling and the ground. To that end, they developed a striated wood-slatted system.
