Who is GroupL?
• In the UAE, GroupL is a ‘not-only-for-profit’, social enterprise focused on Ethical Recruitment
• Witnessed the exploitation of candidates during their recruitment into the security industry in the middle east
• GroupL FZE was set-up initially to protect potential security guards through training and awareness at the recruitment stage
• Today, GroupL FZE is rolling out its services to other industries like facility management, retail, hospitality, logistics and healthcare
• We now have a presence in South Asia, South East Asia and Africa

What have we done so far?
• Associated with the UAE’s National Security Institute (NSI) to train security guards overseas
• Established security training centres in Kochi and Delhi, India to train guards as per NSI’s curriculum
• Run pilot projects in Ghana, Uganda and Nepal for training of security guards
• Entered into agreement with Kerala Labour Ministry for training of security guards in India
• Sourced, trained and deployed over 800 security guards to the UAE

• Established housekeeping training centres in India – Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata
• Utilised existing infrastructure to conduct pre-screening and pre-deployment training for candidates
