• GroupWise is available to all faculty and staff at no charge.
• GroupWise accounts are not automatically generated. Request forms are located at:– www.acs.ucf.edu/forms.html– http://support.mail.ucf.edu
• Students are not eligible for a GroupWise account unless they are working in a paid position at the University.
GroupWise Accessibility
• GroupWise Software– GroupWise is usually installed on your work PC by
the technical support person in your department.• GroupWise Self Installation
– GroupWise software is available for download at http://support.mail.ucf.edu (click Downloads)
• You must have administrative rights to your machine to install GroupWise. Consult your technical support person.
• GroupWise WebAccess– Web page available for checking GroupWise e-mail.– No software download required!– http://webmail.ucf.edu
GroupWise Restrictions
• GroupWise Mail will be purged form the system:– After 180 days– After 6 days in your GroupWise Trash
• Email can not be recovered once it is purged from the system
• To comply with Sunshine State Standards you must set up GroupWise to archive your important e-mail.
