We’ll also cover how to create a valid contract and how to protect yourself in business, including a run down on insurance and liability, understanding duty of care and looking at different risks. When: 10.30am - 12.30pm, Friday 1 September 2017To book workshops contact City of Darwin E: [email protected]: 08 8930 0674 Contracts and CollaborationsUnderstanding arts contracts and knowing the legal ins and outs of collaborating gives you the skills to negotiate and navigate working with creatives. This workshop explores how to make and negotiate a contract and some of the key terms to look out for in those agreements. It also dives into the issues around creating and owning copyright jointly, incorporating a collaborative group, and some of the opportunities and responsibilities you have when collaborating with other artists.
