PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk., Hospitality & Leisure Group announced that it anticipates a strong year of new hotel
developments and subsequent future openings in its upper upscale hotel portfolio under the Aryaduta brand as
it celebrates Aryaduta Hotels’ four decades of renowned hospitality presence in Indonesia. Aryaduta, the
Indonesian hospitality icon that has been a pioneer in the nation’s hospitality service industry, will continue to
contribute materially PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk.’s growth with nearly 50 planned openings of luxury, upscale and
midscale brandsby the year 2020 in key destinations across the Indonesian archipelago including Jakarta,
Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bali and key cities in Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Maluku, and Nusa Tenggara
Timur in lock step with Lippo Group’s mall, hospital, school and township developments. The first two upscale
hotels to open in 2015 will be Aryaduta Bali Kuta and Aryaduta Surabaya CITO. Later this year Lippo
Karawaci will unveil its new midscale brand to address demand in the most popular segment of the rapidly
growing domestic leisure and business market.

Lippo Karawaci will invest in excess of US$ 350 million from a combination of internal cash flow, equity
