Infrastructure Development

• Coastal Circuit one of the 12 thematic circuits identified for development under SWADESH DARSHAN scheme.

• Port/Destinations improvement can be funded under this scheme.

• Large Revenue Generating Projects scheme for viability gap financing

• Subsidy upto Rs. 50 crores subject to maximum of 25% of total project cost or 50% of equity contribution of the promoter whichever is lower.

Making Cruise Terminals into Destinations

• Work with Port Trusts and State Governments for creating infrastructure in and around major ports including signage, public amenities, WiFi, etc

• Work with industry stakeholders like tour operators, transport operators, provide customized itineraries for shore excursion

• Develop city experiences by providing trained tourist /audio guides, public conveniences, shopping experiences etc

• Develop tourist attractions on the itinerary of cruise tourist into world class experiences.
