Any currently enrolled graduate student at USC.

What is the Symposium? A symposium presenting the top research produced by USC Graduate Students. Each student will get 5 minutes to present their research on a single power point slide (think TED talks). Emphasis should be on the broader relevance of the findings and contributions to the field. contributions to the field.

Where & When is the Symposium? UPC (Tutor Campus Center Ballroom) HSC (Aresty Auditorium, NRT) Wednesday, April 1, 2015 Friday, April 3, 2015 STEM Grad Students: 9:30am-12pm HSC Grad Students: 9:30am-12pm Social Sci./Humanities Grad Students: 1pm-3:30pm

How do I Participate? 1. Submit your abstract (max. 300 words) by 1. Submit your abstract (max. 300 words) by 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 to the following email address: [email protected] 2. If your abstract is selected as a semi-finalist, you will be asked to submit a 5-minute video of your presentation and a single PowerPoint slide for review. 3. A total of 60 finalists (20 STEM, 20 Social Science/Humanities, 20 Health Sciences) will be chosen to present at the Graduate Research Symposium. 4. First prize from each field is $1,000! Second place receives $750, and third receives $500!
