The GSM G-Power is a powered version of the GSM standard. This unit has been developed for divers requiring a very longrange compact/light underwater communication unit. Dependingon the surrounding environmental conditions, the GSM G-Power can communicate with any other Ocean REEFcommunications system (underwater and surface) with a rangeof 500 meters (1500 feet). The unit also has an autonomy ofapproximately 25 hours (in standby mode). The second built inbutton of the PTT system, allows the diver to adjust the volumeof the speaker by choosing the best level, according to his/herneeds (ie. use of a hood). The exterior of the unit is coated witha “rubber surface treatment,” which reduces the adhesion ofmicro-bubbles, and improves underwater communication.

The GSM G-Power SL is a version of the GSM G-Power whichincludes a headset instead of the normal speaker. This unit hasall the same features as the GSM G-Power, including: range ofoperation, excellent autonomy, speaker/s audio and volumeadjustment, main unit surface treatment, but also includes a twinspeaker headset. This unit can be used under a hood or with theOcean REEF Diving Helmet H08. The headset, made with 2special speakers, is connected to the main unit by a cable and awaterproof rubber connector. The main unit can be attached tothe BCD jacket shoulder by using the included and incorporatedstainless steel clip. The underwater rubber connection makes itpossible to disconnect the unit from the headset/mask systemduring a dive. This unit is especially recommended for diversworking in loud environments or for those wearing a hood or thehelmet H08.
