Currently QA issues are viewed within the GSPI
specialized Departments, as there is no Internal QAsystem.
Conditioned with this fact, there is no appropriate policy
and procedures, as well as the review policy of
regulating documents and procedures of Institutions
activity in QA.
A QA working group is formed.

Students
Students assessment is realized through 100-score multi-
component system. The principles, standarts andprocedures are presented in Guide, published in the
GSPI.
Assessment process is periodically reviewed (once a year),
where the students take participation too.
Currently we havent got approved review policy and
procedures.

A of Teaching Staff
They regularly participate in trainings on qualification
improvement.The assessment of academic staff is generally carried out before
reselection by survey.
But this process is not realized from the perspective of policy
and procedures requirements of academic staff recruitment,
assessment, encouragement, stability of academic staff
situation, as there is no appropriate procedures and strategy.

GSPI provided mainly by learning resources (professional
literature, equipped laboratories, library, internet connection etc.).Students assistance issue is partially solved providing
additional professional consultation, individual work.

developed, as well as the policy and procedures providingthe students involvement in this process.
There arent resource use, availability and productivity assessment
standarts, tools and mechanisms.

A working group is created aiming at realisation of this
standard, which regularly updates GSPI web-site, publishesinformation leaflets, brochures, makes regional TV-reports.
Information portfolio for first year students, high school pupils
and employees is developed.
Policy and procedure of PR materials publication, assessment
standards and tools do not exist.
There are not mechanisms providing feedback with the society.

In order to solve the above mentioned problems, in 2010
December the GSPI Rectorate decided as the first step to
form the QA working group 4 participants + representativesfrom each faculty and Student Council.
From September 2011 on the base of these Working group
will be established the QA Center with 3 positions and its
job responsibilities.
As a result of DIUS and PICQA programs, after 3-4 year itll
be reformed as a separate department.

The strategy of the Concept is to guarantee the institutional
abilities of self-assessment of HEI and the self-evaluation
of professional study programs, as well as the existence ofthe following basis of ESG and ANQA standarts:
1. Necessary and sufficient institutional abilities to
supply students with stable, available service of high quality.
2. Mechanisms and procedures of developing,
confirming, monitoring professional study programs and
regulating the process of evaluating.

It is necessary to solve the following basic problems of tactical
importance for the implementation of these strategic objectives:
