!East!of!the!city!Bertoua!lies!the!city!of!Bartouri,!on!the!banks!of!river!Kadey.!If!we!follow!its!course!into!the!north!of!the!country,!we!find!the!mining!area!of!Colomin.!CEGO# SA! is! a! local! company,! which! extracts! resources! in! the! area.! They! are!working! in! cooperation! with! the! government! of! Cameroon! since! several! years.!CEGO!SA!is!the!owner!of!several!claims.!GeoScan#Systems!was!commissioned!as!a!consultant!in!order!research!for!gold!and!diamonds.!!!

This!GooglePEarth!shot!originates!from!an!area!close!to!the!claim!of!Colomin.!The!GSS!generated!foil!allows!for! localization!by!an!overlay,!so!GPS!markings!can!be!used!to!match! findings.! GPS! shifts,!which! are! to! be! expected,! can! be! specified! by!means! of!triangulation!in!order!to!localize!the!site!more!precisely.!!Four!yellow!markers:! (Point! IPLPKPH)! indicate! a! gold! claim,! owned! by! CEGO! in!

Cameroon.! The! area! has! been! examined! in! search! of! gold.!Three! different! layers! of! gold! in! different! thickness! were!

detected!in!this!area,!overlaying!each!other.!Since!the!goldfield!

in! nature! spreads! out! far! wider! than! the! claim,! the! claim!

boundaries!outline!markings!to!specify!the!research!area.!!!

!Traditional! geophysical! exploration! methods! failed! to! detect! the! existence! of! a!third!gold!layer!and!was!considered!to!be!impossible.!The!GSS!specific!scan!method!located! this! layer! for! the! first! time!ever! in! this!area!!The!depth!predicted!by!GSS!was! 9.50m! –! 12,0m.! The! first! grains! of! gold! appeared! at! a! depth! of! 9.80m.!Therefore,!GSS’s!prediction!received!a!sensational!reconfirmation.!!!GSS!measurement!results!also! indicate!that! this! layer!reaches!down!to!a!depth!of!12,0!to!12,50!m.!!!!Claim!Area!GSS! scans! indicated! that! each! gold! layer! contains! alluvial! gold.! In! addition! GSS!received!signals,!which!indicate!that!the!third!layer!contains!gold!nuggets!up!to!50g!in!size!at!an!unusual!density.!!Extra!findings:!GSS!located!two!diamond!veins!crossing!the!claim.!On!the!GSS!foil,!they!are!indicated!by!turquoise!field!markings.!!!!

!The!sample!shown!above!originates!from!the!second!gold!layer!of!the!Colomin!mine.!!

!The! image! shows! the! digging! ground! of! Colomin! mine! inside! Kadey’s! former!riverbed.!Today!the!river!flows!at!a!distance!of!about!70m!away.!GSS! had! predicted! to! CEGO! SA! that! the! third! layer! starts! at! about! 9,50m! depth.!Based!on!their!generated!scans,!GSS!determined!the!appropriate!GPS!position!for!an!optimal!exploration.!In!CEGO!SA’s!subsequent!excavation!work!they!really!reached!the! predicted! gold! layer! at! the! indicated! spot.! It! was! proved! to! actually! start! at!9,80m!depth.!!The!3rd!layer!is!at!present!time!(10/2015)!being!mined.!The!first!and!second!layers!

have!almost!been!fully!extracted.!!In!addition,!an!unexpected!diamond!veins!underneath!the!third!was!predicted!here!by!GSS!in!the!same!type!of!precise!meter!value!in!depth!with!a!variable!of!only!2m.!!
