Writing sentences w/noun phrases, passage
writing, (only one person talk in a paragraph).
Write a paragraph ending for a story. Adjectives, capitalization persons and places. Perform
mastery test about the lesson presented.

SWBAT:
Write sentences with verb phrases, paragraph ending for a story
Know what are adjectives, use capitalization for persons and places
Perform highly in the mastery test
Description of Lesson (Including Instructional Strategies): Anticipatory Set:
Present/discuss sentences that reports, does not report, that names and tells; what people did, he, she, it, etc.
Instruction and Strategies:
follow the presentation book and workbook
Guided Practice:
Individual students answers question on the different exercises (orally/written)
Formative Assessment:
Students answer questions from their workbook and correct the answers to the questions.
Closure:
Students participate in the class activities
Independent Practice:
This concept not fully developed for students to work independently.

Read the words on the board (phonics). Teacher models the reading followed by the students
until all the students can pronounce the sounds correctly.

Do the worksheet on prefixes, suffixes and decoding words.

Individual turns on pronunciation
Test on suffixes/prefixes/decoding words.

Students will be given a list of words to practice on prefixes, suffixes, and decoding words.
