Andrea Cheeseman, assistant professor of woodwinds at Delta State University, (DSU) teaches clarinet, saxophone, oboe and bassoon as well as a woodwind methods course and chamber music. Prior to her appointment at DSU, she was en the faculties of Alma College and Hillsdale College as adjunct instructor of clarinet. She received the Doctorate of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees in clarin performance from Michigan State University and the Bachelor of Musr degree in clarinet performance and music education from Ithaca College. Her principal teachers have included Elsa Ludewig-Verdehr and Michael Galvan. During her studies at Michigan State University, she held graduate assistantships through the Integrative Arts and Humanities department, working with courses in Music Appreciation, African and African American Music and the Music of Jamaica.

An active performer, she has regularly given solo and chamber music recitals. Recently, she performed at the Montana/Idaho Clarinet Festival and the Michigan State University Contemporary Clarinet Festival. She held the position of bass clarinetist of the Midland Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Tupelo Symphony Orchestra, Delta Symphony Orchestra, Greater Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Jackson Symphony Orchestra and Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra. She also attended the National Orchestral Institute in College Park, Maryland and toured New York state wit the American Wind Symphony Orchestra as principal clarinetist.

North American pianist Lois C. Hobbs has performed extensively in recitals and festivals as a collaborative artist for such venues as the Mid-South Flute Festival, the Mississippi Clarinet Symposium, Oberlin College-Conservatory Summer Flute Festival, Cleveland Chamber Music Society (OH), the Tucson Chamber Music Society, the Art Song Festival and Kent-Blossom Music Festivals in Ohio. With flutist Keith Pettway, she recorded works by Mississippi composers m a CD entitled Mississippi Classic, which was used by Public Radio Mississippi as a gift to donors for their fundraising campaign of 2000.

Upon graduation with a Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano from the Cleveland Institute of Music (Ohio), Ms. Hobbs worked as staff accompanist for the Cleveland Institute, Oberlin College-Conservatory of Music and Encore School for Strings (Ohio), where she specialized in assisting young violinists and violists for competitio and recitals throughout North America and abroad. Performances wit J these artists have been featured en Ohio Public Radio en the "Music from Encore" series. Ms. Hobbs is currently Assistant Professor of Music and Staff Accompanist at Delta State University.
