All merchandise, ordered on hangers, is required to ship on Catherines specified hangers. The specified “Top” & “Outerwear” hanger will now be the NEW VICS 479 & VICS 3320 Outerwear approved hanger. The Charming Shoppes preferred Supplier of the New VICS 479 & 3320 is Uniplast. The use of this vendor will ensure that you are receiving the contracting pricing (ref. product sheets in subsequent pages). When placing your hanger order, please remember to refer to the Charming Shoppes Account # CSI 0809 as indicated on the Hanger Order form (last page of this hanger). Reference to our account number, will ensure that you receive the most up-to-date pricing. The hanger pricing reflected in the guide is subject to change. Price changes will be updated on a quarterly basis. Placing orders with the attached order form is preferred. Information on the required Uniplast bottom hanger is shown on the following page. Authorization to use non-standard hangers must be approved by Vendor Communications prior to shipping of the merchandise. All vendors will be responsible for the purchasing, stocking, and payment of the Catherine’s approved standard hangers. Failure to use Catherine’s standard hanger will result in refusal or a chargeback. Plus size bottoms must be folded and hung so the price ticket is visible in front. The use of straight pins, metal or plastic clips to secure garments is prohibited and non-compliance will result in a chargeback. See the Vendor Instruction section of your Purchase Order for hanger instructions. When intimate apparel hangers are packed in a polybag, the entire hanger must be packed inside the bag. Protruding hooks are prohibited. There will be a grace period until December 1, 2009 to transition over to the new VICS hangers

Catherines Bundle Requirements

Bundle Height The number of garments in a multi-garment bundle must be such that the overall width and length of the bundle are at least twice the bundle height. The bundle width/length/height ration requirement is graphically represented as follows:

Bundle Overwrap Requirements – NOT PERMITTED The following list contains things not to do. You will receive a chargeback for any of the

below violations.

• Tape is not permitted to secure shoeboxes. • Cellophane/Poly-pro-pylene overwrap of either individual garments within a

bundle or of the bundle itself is not permitted. • Open-ended individual bags are not permitted. • Knotted polybags are not permitted. • Loosely wrapped bundles are not permitted. • Use of paper tape to secure an overwrap bundle is not permitted. • Bundles tied with string are not permitted. • The use of straight pins, metal or plastic clips to secure the merchandise within

the bundle is not permitted.

Bundle Overwrap Requirements - Do List

• Bundle must be tightly secured using clear master polybag and with plastic tape

wide enough to hold bag closed and not allowing shifting of merchandise within the

bundle.

• Any reference to Polybag means POLYETHYLENE only.

• Bundle overwrap must firmly conform (like stretch wrap) to the contents of the

bundle.

• All garments in multi-garment bundles must be stable with a flat bottom and firmly

wrapped.

• Bundles that are 16" or smaller and do not have a flat bottom must be firmly bound

to an underlayment material (i.e. cardboard) in order to add stability to the bundle.

• Fragile bottles and/or containers must be on firm underlayment and bubble

wrapped.

• Eyeglasses must be pack in boxes (2 or 3 pc.bundles must be pack with a flat

bottom using cardboard and bubble wrapped).

Tee Shirt Fold Step 1: Place top Face Down

Step 2: Fold body approximately 1/3 over. Fold arm back over as shown.

Step 3: Fold other side and sleeve over.

Step 4: Fold bottom of the top approximately 1/3 up.

Step 5: Fold remaining portion of the top in half. Overall dimension should be 9X13

Step 6: IF REQUIRED- Place size sticker on the lower right portion of the top 10 inches below the shoulder seem. ** Size stickers are not required on all folded product. Please refer to the vendor info section of the Purchase Order to confirm.

Catherines Labeling And Ticketing Placement/attachment and label order forms

IT IS THEVENDORS RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE THAT ALL LABELS ARE RECEIVED ONTIME. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR LABELS YOU MUST CONTACT YOUR SUPPLIER TOMAKE ARANGEMENTS FOR THEM TO BE SHIPPED.

The Vendor will be invoiced directly for all labels.

In 2 piece garments, which are sold as a set, the logo and price ticket, are required in the toponly. The legal information (country of origin, care instructions and fiber composition) can also bein the top piece only provided that the fiber composition is the same for both pieces and the careinstructions are appropriate for both pieces.

All labels must be securely attached and free from loose threads. In general no stitching used toattach labels should be visible on the outside of the garment.

Attach all labels in a manner, which eliminates raw edges in the label, which may fray/unravel.Woven labels, which have 4 finished edges, may be stitched along the two vertical sides or alongall 4 sides.

Labels must be stitched with matching thread. Monofilament nylon thread is unacceptable.

*Specific placement and attachment is required as described and shown in the following section.The following general guidelines apply to all Catherines merchandise.

Sample Care Label (SEE CORP GENERAL INFO.)

All merchandise shipped to Catherines is required to have a logo label permanentlyaffixed. This label will either be a Catherines designated label or the vendor’s brand label asidentified on the Purchase Order.

Failure to attach a logo garment label and tickets and hangtags can result in refusal ofmerchandise at the vendor’s expense or a charge back in accordance with the schedule ofCharge Backs and fees.

Purchase Orders that specify hangtags must have them applied in the correct location.Failure to attach hangtags when specified on Purchase Order will result in a charge back inaccordance with the Schedule of Charge Backs and Fees.

All vendors and suppliers shipping to Catherines are required to preticket and labelmerchandise 100%. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure that price tickets and hangtags,when indicated, are received for each Purchase Order.

Incorrect ticketing or failure to ticket will result in refusal of shipment or in a charge backin accordance with the Schedule of Charge Backs and Fees.

Under no circumstances are any markings or stickers to be applied to the Catherinesretail priceticket. Markings or stickers on Catherines retail price tickets will result in a chargeback in accordancewith the Schedule of Charge Backs and Fees.Placement of price tickets, labels and hangtags are discribed and diagrammed on the following pages. Failure to attach price tickets, labels and hangtagsin the proper location will result in a charge back in accordance with the Schedule of Charge Backsand fees.

Tickets

As of February 3rd 2008, we are discontinuing the process of shipping retail tickets direct to vendors from Charming Shoppes Inc. We will continue to provide tickets only up to the ticket require date of February 3rd, 2008.

Fashion Bug, Catherines, Lane Bryant Outlet, and Petite Sophisticate Outlet vendors will order direct from our ticket provider effective February 3rd 2008.

Our new ticket provider is Checkpoint Systems, Inc.

Vendors will be required to establish an account with Checkpoint Systems by entering the Check-net web site and completing the application form. A username and password will be provided upon approval. It will take approximately 3 to 5 business days for Checkpoint Systems to process your credit application and provide a username and password.

All information regarding the ordering procedure can be found on the Checkpoint website including a document containing frequently asked questions and answers.

The charges for price tickets will remain unchanged, however, rather than receiving a chargeback for tickets from Charming Shoppes, Checkpoint will be invoicing you directly for all tickets that are required. Tickets will be produced both in the US and in many international countries in proximity to factory locations.

Tickets will be available on the Checkpoint website according to our normal delivery timelines. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ORDER TICKETS IN A TIMELY MANNER TO ENSURE THAT SHIP DATES ARE MAINTAINED. NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED. Re-orders will be the vendor’s responsibility. The ship method, ship location, and quantity can be adjusted for each order.

Average lead time for Checkpoint-supplied price tickets is one to three days (does not include shipping). Some orders may be produced the same day that they are ordered.

Price tickets will be shrink wrapped to the size & color level. Each style will be placed in one bag and then in a carton for shipment. Please ensure your account is maintained in good standing.

Woven/Knit Tops/Dresses/Jumpsuits Logo Label

A side sew label must be attached by sewing the vertical edges of the label to the inside of the center back neck band.

A Top sewn label should be attached at the neck seam or attached in the hem or binding stitching at the center back neck edge.

Legal I.D Label Stitch care labels into the neck seam or at the right side of the logo label. It is preferable to stitch the care label to the right of the side-sew label, but is acceptable for the

care label to be sewn under the logo label. Hangtag/Special Disclaimer

garment at the center back.

Legal I.D. Label Sew care information to the right side of A Top sewn label, attaching in the same manner as the

logo. It is acceptable, but not preferable, for the care label to be stitched underneath the logo label.

Pants/Shorts/Skirts/Jeans Logo Label In a garment with a waistband or facing, stitch the vertical sides of a side-sew label at the center back waist.

Garments with elastic waist will have a logo label stitched at the center back bottom edge of the casing. Legal I.D. Label Place the care label at center back in waist seam, if possible. Otherwise, attach the care label to the right side of the logo label. It is acceptable, but not preferable, to place the care label underneath the logo label.

Hangtag Attach with a plastic barb at the top of the wearer’s left outseam just below the waist. Place plastic barbs carefully to avoid any damage to the fabric. When required to use a chain for hangtags, attach to the left front belt loop.

Price Ticket Attach all price tickets with a 3” plastic barb through the side seam at the waist of the wearer’s left side of the garment. Always place price ticket on top of hangtag incl. perfect price hangtag).

When required follow placement of Joker, Flasher and Size Strips below. For 3 and 5 pocket jeans attach the price tickets through the back care label of the garment.

Joker Fasten over the waistband above the wearer’s left front pocket.

Flasher Fasten over the top of the wearer’s back pocket.

Size Strip Place below the wearer’s back right pocket so it is easily visible when the garment is folded for display.

Waistband Jean Logo Stitch to the waistband at the top and bottom edges on the wearer’s right side between back belt loops.

Coats/Jackets Logo Label Garments with a back neck facing or lining may have the label attached at the center back neck or on the front facing near the bottom hem. If the garment has a neck seam, stitch logo label in the neck seam.

Legal I.D. Label Attach care information beside or below side-sew logo label. If A Top sewn label is used in the neck seam, the care label should be to the right or underneath the logo label.

Hangtag/Special Disclaimer If applicable, swift tack hangtags and price tickets through the care label or logo label. Place plastic barbs carefully to avoid any damage to the fabric. (Always place price ticket on top of hangtag incl. Perfect Price hangtag.)

Price Ticket Attach price tickets with a 3” plastic barb along with any hangtag information through the care label or logo label.

If the care label is inside the bottom facing, attach the price ticket and hangtag through the neck seam.

Two piece set Jacket and Dresses sold as a set, price tickets and hangtags should be in the jacket if neck is higher.

Reversible Jacket Care label and Country of Origin sewn in the pocket. Logo Label, Country of Origin and Fiber Content must be sewn at neck with loose stitching so it can be removed by the customer without damage to fabric or this information can be on a hangtag at the back neck.

Intimate Apparel/Sleepwear Logo Label A Top sewn label must be sewn into the seam at the center back neck or edge. A side-sew label must be attached by sewing the vertical edges securely through the body of the garment at the center back neck/waist.

Labels for bras must be attached at the center back or side seam. Logo labels must be in the top only for a two-piece item.

ADDED DIMENSIONS LABEL/HANGTAG INSTRUCTIONS

Tops/Dresses/Jackets/Sweaters

LOGO LABEL A top sew label must be attached at the neck seam or attached in the hem or binding stitching at the center back neck edge. Unless specified on the Purchase Order or by the Merchant the small label (EN) is to be used in all product EXCEPT jackets. Jackets will use the large label ONLY (EO). SIZE/LEGAL ID LABEL A top sew size/legal id (EP) label must be attached at the neck seam or attached in the hem or binding stitching ¼” from the LOGO label to the wearer’s left side. CARE LABEL Stitch the care label (EM) to inside seam of the wearer’s left side approximately 3” from the bottom hem. HANGTAG/PRICE TICKETS/BUTTON BAG Swift tack hangtags (B5), button bag (B6) and price tickets using a 3” clear plastic barb to the wearer’s left armhole (under the sleeve). Place plastic barbs carefully to avoid any damage to the fabric. (Price ticket must be placed on top of all hangtags.)

Pants/Shorts/Skirts

NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THESE ITEMS FOR LABEL (LOGO/CARE) OR HANGTAG PLACEMENT. This product will NOT use the size/legal id label; only the LOGO and CARE (EQ) labels. All trim items should be attached as per the normal guidelines (see page 7 within this section)
