Note : The reading comprehension test is a combination of multiple choice, short answers and long answers. The questions are designed to let the students process the information in the paragraphs, passages, short stories, analyze them and organize them for the answers. (analytical abilities) The short-answer questions must have a “READ, THINK and EXPLAIN” symbol next to them. Students should spend about 3-5 Minutess finding the answer for each question. Each question answered correctly is given up to two points; partial credit is given. There can be some variation in the answers. The long-answer questions have a "Read, Think, and Explain" symbol with more lines next to them. Students should spend about seven to ten Minutess answering each long-answer question on the lines provided. Each question correctly answered is given up to four points and partial credit is given.
