Susan Cinoman is a playwright and screenwriter whose work is published and produced internationally. She is honored to be the recipient of the 2019 Guilford Performing Arts Prize in Drama. Cinoman began as a comedy writer and performer in the all-woman comedy group, “The Soubrettes,” in Philadelphia, where she wrote “A Night of Comedy, A Night of Shame” and “Evil Coco and Other Primal Urges” with Patrick Tranter. She is a frequent contributor to “The Goldbergs” where she created the recurring character of drama teacher, “Miss Cinoman,” and co-wrote the Season Six finale with Adam F. Goldberg. Cinoman’s Off-Broadway plays include Gin and Bitters and “Cinoman and Rebeck”, which was hailed as “an evening of talent and promise” by The New York Times. Other productions were seen at The Ensemble Studio Theatre and Naked Angels. Susan is the recipient of The Best Connecticut Filmmaker Award in 2009; The Best Narrative Film at New England Film and Video Festival; an Official Selection by The International Berkshire Film Festival, all of which she shares with Doug Tenaglia. She received The Maxwell Anderson Playwrights Prize, and The Aristos Scholarly Award.Her prose are published by Harvardwood Publishing. Cinoman is a member of The Dramatist Guild, The Writer’s Guild of America and The League of Professional Theatre Women.

Hannah Simms is a company member of Hartbeat Ensemble Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut. Hannah is dedicated to amplifying the voices of women and minorities in a theatre of complete inclusion. She often directs at the Ivoryton Playhouse, The O’Neill Theatre Foundation and Smith College, where she is currently an Ada Comstock Scholar. Hannah is happy to be directing a full length draft of “Guenevere,” as she helped develop it from its inception at the Ivoryton Women’s Playwright Initiative at the Ivoryton Playhouse where she directed a one- act version of the play.

Yvonne Perry (Guenevere) is a professional actress, director and educator. She is an Associate Artist at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, NY, where she frequently performs, directs and serves on the Next Act New Play Summit reading committee. She has also performed with Saratoga Shakespeare, Hubbard Hall, Oldcastle, NYSTI, NYC Fringe, River Valley Rep, Stageworks/Hudson, Theatre 88 and Gulfshore Playhouse. Yvonne originated the role of Rosanna Cabot on As The World Turns. (Soap Opera Award, 1993) Other TV: Law & Order, CI; Silk Stalkings, Candid Camera, All My Children. Yvonne also keeps busy doing corporate training videos, TV commercials, and narration work. Yvonne has taught and directed shows at upstate NY colleges for over 20 years. David Girard (Arthur) Based out of Albany NY, David has been working as a professional actor, director, and theatre educator .He has appeared at, among others: Capital Repertory Theatre, the New York State Theatre Institute, Adirondack Theatre Festival, New Stages, Theatre Institute at Sage, Hubbard Hall, Theatre Voices and Saratoga Shakespeare Company. He has directed for, among others, Saratoga Shakespeare Company, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Theatre Voices, Temple University, Union College, and Siena College respectively. David quite frequently moonlights as an actor, fight director, assistant director, dramaturg, and dialect coach. David received his Master of Fine Arts in Directing at Temple University in Philadelphia .David is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association.

Barbara Hentschel (Morgan) is grateful to be reading this wonderful new play with this talented company! Most recently, Barbara played Mrs. Eynsford Hill in Legacy Theatre’s production of Pygmalion. Favorite roles: Queen Gertrude in Hamlet (Legacy Theatre), Lady Montague in Romeo & Juliet, directed by Mark Lamos (Westport Country Playhouse), Katharine in “Love’s Labour’s Lost” (Woodstock Shakespeare Festival, NY), Ride the Tiger(Long Wharf Theatre), “Apple Season” (Ivoryton Playhouse, WPI), Laura in “The Glass Menagerie” (MLS, CT) and Lady Macbeth in “Macbeth” (MLS, CT). Barbara earned her BA in Theatre from Fordham University at Lincoln Center and has an MFA in acting from The Actors Studio Drama School, NYC. Sean Hannon (Lancelot) is an accomplished 3D character animator with a strong background as a professional actor. For almost a decade, he has been working at numerous CG production houses such as Zoic Studios, Powerhouse VFX, Pivot VFX, Alkemy X, Absolute Post, Method, and The Mill. Titles include "Glass", "The Defenders", "Mary Poppins Returns", "Smurfs 2", "Iron Fist", "Second Act", and "Blind Spot". He worked for a year in Vancouver, Canada animating at Bardel Entertainment on Dreamworks' hit TV show "Dinotrux". As an actor, Sean has been seen in numerous professional stage productions as well as commercials, television dramas and daytime soap operas. His 15 minutes of Warhol fame came when he co-starred as the evil Icelord Nekron in the Ralph Bakshi/Frank Frazetta animated film "Fire & Ice” (1983). His performance was rotoscoped and thus he has the distinction of having been a cartoon character before he was an animator. Sean played 'The Matador' in Susan Cinoman’s “The Bull” and most recently was seen as Baysha in her comedy, “Hungarian Rhapsody” at newplaysforum.com

Patrick Ramsay Jr. (Mordred) is an actor currently studying at Western Connecticut State University Department of Theatre Arts, in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Performance. Most recently he played Borachio in WCSU’s production of” Much Ado About Nothin”g and Luke in ACT’s (A Contemporary Theater of Connecticut) production of “Killing Mom”. In school or out, Patrick continues to seek opportunities to be apart of exciting and dynamic work as Guenevere and work with a gifted cast such as this one.

Robert Wiener (First Guard) A Connecticut native, Robert is honored to be a part of this amazing story with such a talented company. He has been trained as an actor since 2005, and he graduated from The American Musical & Dramatic Academy (otherwise known as AMDA College & Conservatory Of The Performing Arts) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performing Arts: Music Theatre. Representative roles include Ernst in “Spring Awakening,” Dwayne in “9 To 5,” Evan Hansen in “Dear Evan Hansen,'' Jan Warwick in “The Unexpected Guest,” Jack in “Into The Woods,” Jesus in “Godspell,” Nick Bottom in “ A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Orin Scrivello in “Little Shop Of Horrors.” Robert endeavors to bring a lot of passion and fun to storytelling on the stage. www.robertwiener.com

Karen Steinbacher is an award winning costume designer and frequent collaborator of Susan Cinoman’s, having designed costumes for productions such as “Guys and Dolls” “ A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Man of La Mancha” and “Our Town.” Additionally, Karen has been married to her high school sweetheart John for 32 years and is a proud mother to two beautiful daughters. PFC Sarah Balla of The First Company Governor’s Horse Guards and AMDA 4th semester student, actress Katie Steinbacher. She is also a crafter and a busy grandmother , to two year old, Joey. She is thrilled to be working once again with Susan Cinoman, and now, with the talented cast and crew of Guenevere.

Kathy Wiener was the Woodland Theatre Production Coordinator/ Producer from the time of its inception. Through fundraising, community outreach and pure passion, Kathy helped launch a fledgling program, attracting audiences in the thousands from a meager beginning. Kathy’s ability to handle all aspects of line producing as well being a master Development facilitator makes her a key component to the success of the Guenevere developmental reading, and other more complex productions. She is also the stage mother of First Guard and supports him in all aspects of his acting career.
