Mode of sending the tender: Two cover bid tender. Two separate cover consisting of technical bid (eligibility criteria) in one cover and commercial bid (Schedule-B) in second cover. Both cover shall be put in main single cover including DD of the tender fee and EMD and shall be submitted in sealed cover by registered post/speed post/courier only.

Description essential to be made on sealed cover: The main single cover must be super scribed as, “Tender for Construction of Gate at Main Entry of GTU Chandkheda Campus, Ahmedabad.” Two separate cover put in main single cover shall be super scribed as the technical bid cover and commercial bid cover along with tender fee and EMD. Date of opening tender: (1) Part-1, technical bid on Dt.10/02/2020 at 15:00 hrs in the conference room no. C-106 by the Estate Maintenance Committee (2) Part-2, commercial bid. This bid will be opened after examination of pre-qualification and shall be opened only those tenders who will technically/PQ


succeeded. Date will be intimated. Instructions and Conditions: (1) Working method shall be as per PWD manual, B-1 tender form clauses and

standard specifications of R&B.Dept will apply. (2) If the work will not be completed due to cause of agency within time limit then

penalty of Rs.400 per day shall be levied. (3) The registrar of GTU does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender or

to give any reasons for the decision. He is having the right to accept or to reject any or all the tenders without giving reasons.

(4) The notice of tender and terms and conditions shall form the part of the contract of document

(5) 1% of bill amount will be recover for labour cess over and above TDS. (6) Rates to be quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, GST etc. (7) Warranty/defect liability period: 50% S.D. will be released within 30 days after

completion of work. Remaining 50% shall be refunded after the 12 months from date of completion
