20 Homemade Fruit Snacks Recipes
Below you’ll find 20 homemade fruit snacks recipes made with a variety of fruits, juices
and natural sweeteners. All the recipes were kitchen tested by me and my babies! My
kids had a blast making these yummy gummies with me. This is definitely a fun and easy
snack to help teach kids how to cook real food.
Ingredients & Equipment
Gelatin: Perfect Supplements Grass-Fed Gelatin
Flavors: Fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, organic fruit juice (not from concentrate),
kombucha, tea, coconut water, coconut milk, acerola powder(vitamin c), natural calm
magnesium, goji/pomegranate powder or dried fruit. Note: Some raw fruits like kiwi,
mango, pineapple and papaya contain enzymes that break down gelatin and should not
be used in these recipes. Pasteurized juices do not contain enzymes and can be used.
Natural Sweeteners: Raw honey, maple syrup, stevia, coconut sugar or organic cane
juice.
Molds or Pans: You can use fun heart, dinosaur or star molds or a small bread pan to
make your fruit snacks in.

Coconut & Vanilla Bean Gummies
Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 cup full fat coconut milk
● 1/4 cup raw honey or natural sweetener of choice
● 3 tablespoons beef gelatin
● 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla bean powder or vanilla extract
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1/2 cup of coconut milk with raw honey and vanilla.
2. Add the gelatin to the coconut milk and let it soak for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of coconut milk in a saucepan on low heat. You want
the coconut milk to be hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot coconut milk over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch Pyrex pan.
7. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.
8. Store fruit snacks in a closed container in the refrigerator.

Goji Gummy Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 2 tablespoon of goji berry powder
● 1/4 cup of raw honey or 1 1/2 teaspoons of liquid stevia
● 1/2 cup water
● 5 tablespoons of beef gelatin
● 1 cup water
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix goji powder, beef gelatin and 1/2 cup of cold water together.
2. Let the gelatin sit in the water for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat 1 cup of water in a saucepan on low heat. You want the water to be hot but
not boiling.
4. Pour the hot water over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Add the honey or stevia and mix until thoroughly combined.
7. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.
8. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.

Kombucha Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 2 cups of kombucha
● 3 tablespoons of raw honey or 1 teaspoon liquid stevia
● 6 tablespoons beef gelatin
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1 1/2 cups of kombucha with raw honey or stevia.
2. Add 6 tablespoons of gelatin to the kombucha and let it soak for a minute or until
it gels up.
3. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of kombucha in a saucepan on low heat. You want the
kombucha to be hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot kombucha over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.
7. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.

Fresh or Frozen Berry Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 2 1/2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 1/2 cups of fresh or frozen berries
● 1/2 cup water
● 1/4 cup raw honey or sweetener of choice
● 3 tablespoons beef gelatin
● 1/2 cup water, hot
Directions
1. Use a blender or food processor to blend the berries, honey, 1/2 cup water and
gelatin together.
2. Blend until berries are completely mush.
3. Let the mixture soak for a minute or until it gels up.
4. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of water in a saucepan on low heat. You want the
water to be hot but not boiling.
5. Pour the hot water over the gelatin mixture.
6. Carefully blend the mixture together for a few seconds.
7. Pour mixture into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.
8. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.

Grape Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 2 cups of grape juice
● 6 tablespoons of honey or sweetener of choice
● 6 tablespoons beef gelatin
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1 cup of grape juice with gelatin.
2. Let the gelatin sit in the juice for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat remaining 1 cup of grape juice in a saucepan on low heat. You want the juice
to be hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot juice over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Add the honey or stevia and mix until thoroughly combined.
7. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.

Vitamin C Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 2 cups of orange juice
● 4 teaspoons acerola powder (vitamin c)
● 1/4 cup raw honey or natural sweetener of choice
● 6 tablespoons beef gelatin
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1 cup of juice with acerola powder and gelatin.
2. Let the gelatin sit in the juice for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat remaining 1 cup of juice in a saucepan on low heat. You want the juice to be
hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot juice over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Add the honey or natural sweetener of choice and mix until thoroughly
combined.
7. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.

Chocolate Gummy Snacks
Makes approximately 1 cup of gummy snacks
Ingredients
● 3 tablespoons beef gelatin
● 1/4 cup water
● 1 1/2 cups of soy free chocolate chips
● 3/4 cup water, hot
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1/4 cup of water with gelatin.
2. Let the gelatin sit in the water for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat remaining 3/4 cup of water in a saucepan on low heat. You want the water
to be hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot water over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Add the chocolate chips and mix until the chocolate is melted.
7. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.
8. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.

Piña Colada Gummies
Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 cup full fat coconut milk
● 1/4 cup raw honey or natural sweetener of choice
● 3 tablespoons beef gelatin
● 1/2 cup of crushed or pureed pineapple (not raw)*
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1/2 cup of coconut milk with raw honey and pineapple. *Raw
pineapple contain enzymes that break down gelatin. Cooked pineapple should be
used in this recipe.
2. Add the gelatin to the coconut milk and let it soak for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of coconut milk in a saucepan on low heat. You want
the coconut milk to be hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot coconut milk over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.

Sleepy Time Fruit Snacks
According to this study tart cherry juice enhances restfulness and promotes better sleep.
Mixed with chamomile tea, gelatin and honey (all 3 help with relaxation and better
sleep) these gummies are a great bedtime snack! This recipes makes approximately 1
cup of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 1/2 cup of tart cherry juice
● 3 tablespoons of beef gelatin
● 1/2 cup of honey
● 1 cup brewed chamomile tea
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1/2 cup of tart cherry juice with gelatin.
2. Let the gelatin sit in the juice for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Brew a fresh cup of organic chamomile tea.
4. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
5. Remove tea bag and pour the hot tea over the gelatin mixture.
6. Mix the ingredients together.
7. Add the honey and mix until thoroughly combined.
8. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.

Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of gummy snacks.
Ingredients
● 1/2 cup water
● 3 tablespoons of beef gelatin
● 2 tablespoon raw honey
● 2 tablespoons of Natural Calm (I used raspberry lemon flavor)
● 1/2 cup water, hot
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix beef gelatin and 1/2 cup of cold water together.
2. Let the gelatin sit in the water for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat 1/2 cup of water in a saucepan on low heat. You want the water to be hot but
not boiling.
4. Pour the hot water over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Pour the natural calm and honey into mixture and stir until thoroughly
combined.
7. Pour into molds or into a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.
8. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.

Fresh Watermelon Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 4-5 cups of fresh watermelon, sliced
● 2-4 tablespoons of raw honey
● 6 tablespoons of beef gelatin
Directions
1. Blend the fresh watermelon in a blender or food processor.
2. Strain the juice and seeds.
3. You should have 2 - 2 1/2 cups of watermelon juice
4. Mix 1 cup of watermelon juice with gelatin. Let the gelatin sit in the water for a
minute or until it gels up.
5. Heat remaining 1 cup of watermelon juice in a saucepan on low heat.
6. Pour the hot watermelon juice over the gelatin mixture.
7. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
8. Add the honey and mix until thoroughly combined.

● 2 tablespoons of raw honey or cane juice
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1/2 cup of coconut milk with pureed peaches.
2. Add the gelatin to the coconut milk and let it soak for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of coconut milk in a saucepan on low heat. You want
the coconut milk to be hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot coconut milk over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Add the vanilla extract and raw honey to the batter.
7. Mix well and pour into the molds or a 5x7 inch pyrex pan.

Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 2 1/2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries
● 3/4 cup water
● 1/4 cup lemon juice
● 3 tablespoons beef gelatin
● 1/2 cup water, hot
● 1/4 cup raw honey or sweetener of choice
Directions
1. Use a blender or food processor to blend the strawberries and water together.
Strain the liquid and discard the pulp. Add lemon juice to the strawberry juice.
2. Pour gelatin over strawberry lemon juice. Mix well.
3. Let the mixture soak for a minute or until it gels up.
4. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of water in a saucepan on low heat. You want the
water to be hot but not boiling. Pour the hot water over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.
6. Add the raw honey to the mixture.

Dried Cranberry Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 1 cup of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 cup dried organic cranberries, sweetened
● 1 cup water
● 3 tablespoons beef gelatin
● 1/4 cup water, hot
Directions
1. Soak 1 cup of dried cranberries with 1 cup of water for at least 1 hour.
2. Blend the soaked cranberries and the water in a food processor or blender.
3. Pour gelatin over the cranberry puree and mix well.
4. Let the gelatin sit in the juice for a minute or until it gels up.
5. Heat 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan on low heat. You want the water to be hot but
not boiling.
6. Pour the hot water over the gelatin mixture.
7. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.

Ingredients
● 2 cups of fresh blueberry juice
● 6 tablespoons of honey or sweetener of choice
● 6 tablespoons beef gelatin
Directions
1. In a small bowl mix 1 cup of blueberry juice with gelatin.
2. Let the gelatin sit in the juice for a minute or until it gels up.
3. Heat remaining 1 cup of blueberry juice in a saucepan on low heat. You want the
juice to be hot but not boiling.
4. Pour the hot juice over the gelatin mixture.
5. Use a whisk and mix the ingredients together.

Gummy Fruit Snack Cookbook by The Coconut Mama
Orange Creamsicle Gummy Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 2 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 1/2 cups fresh squeezed juice (I tested with orange juice and cherry juice)
● 1/2 cup coconut cream or whole cream
● 1 cup honey (or other natural sweeteners)
● 1/2 cup beef gelatin
● 1/4 teaspoon salt
● 1 tablespoon vanilla
Directions
1. Heat juice and cream over medium heat in a medium size saucepan.
2. Pour gelatin over liquid.
3. Whisk gelatin into mixture.
4. Add honey and salt and continue to stir until the gelatin dissolves.
5. Bring the mixture to a light boil, stirring constantly.
6. Turn off heat and stir in the vanilla.
7. Pour mixture into a 8×8 square pan.
8. Cover pan and refrigerate until gummy snacks are set, about 2 hours.
9. Cut into small square and store in airtight container.

Cherry Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 1 cup of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 cup cherry juice, divided
● 3 tablespoons beef gelatin
● 1/2 cup raw honey
● pinch of sea salt
Directions
1. Sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup of cherry juice.
2. Let the gelatin and juice sit for a few minutes while the gelatin absorbs the juice.
3. Heat the remaining 1/2 cup of cherry juice over medium heat.
4. Bring to a boil.
5. Take the juice off the heat and add honey and salt.
6. Mix well and pour over the gelatin mix.
7. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
8. Pour into molds (if using) or into a 8×8 pan.
9. Refrigerate until the fruit snacks are set, 2-4 hours.

Rainbow Fruit Snacks
Makes approximately 4 cups of fruit snacks.
Ingredients
● 1 cup each of strawberry lemonade fruit snack mixture, orange vitamin c fruit
snack mixture, super sour lemon fruit snack mixture, grape snack mixture.
Directions
1. Make a 1/2 batch of strawberry lemonade fruit snacks.
2. Pour into an 11x7 inch pan.
3. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
4. Make a 1/2 batch of orange vitamin c fruit snacks.
5. Pour over cooled strawberry lemonade layer in the 11x7 inch pan.
6. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
7. Make a 1/2 batch of super sour lemon fruit snacks.
8. Pour over cooled orange vitamin c fruit snack layer in the 11x7 inch pan.
9. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
10. Make a 1/2 batch of grape fruit snacks.
11. Pour over cooled super sour lemon fruit snack layer in the 11x7 inch pan.
12. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set.
