Every month the director has an open house with the students where students can offer
suggestions, shortcomings and voice their opinions about the area in which improvement is
desirable. There are number of boxes specially put up at different places in the Institute, which
the students can use to give their grievances /suggestions. Needless to say that they are attended
by the Director himself and a feedback is given to the students in the next open house meeting.
Students are also encouraged to communicate with the Director directly whenever there is need
for doing so.
11. Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students
There are two grievance handling committees i.e. one for faculty and another for
students. Further, the students / staff members are always welcomed to put their
grievances in front of the Director. The students can either put their grievances in the
form of letters or can directly talk to the Director/ Grievance Handling Committee for the
same. The problems are always carefully sorted out keeping in view the interest of the
students as well as the Institute. The grievances of faculty and staff members are sorted
out through periodical meetings of all faculty.
