GURU STOTRAM
(Oracin de glorificacin al Maestro Espiritual)
1. Akhand-Mandalakaram vyaptam yena characharam.Tatpadam
darshitam yena tasmai Shri Gurave Namah.
Akhand - unfragmented; Mandalakaram - one infinite whole;
vyaptam - pervades;yena - by which; characharam - movable &
immovable; Tadpadam - That state; darshitam -has shown; yena - by
whom; tasmai - to that; Shri - glorious; Guruve - guru, teacher;
Namah- my salutations.
Mis saludos al Guru quien me ha revelado la Verdad, la cual es
no-
fragmentada, infinita, eterna, divina que prevalece en el
universo entero comolo movible e inamovible.
2. Agyan timir-andhasya Gyananjan Shalakaya.Chakshur-oonmeelitam
yena tasmai Shri Gurave Namah.
Agyan - Ignorance; timir - cataract; andhasya - blinded;
Gyananjan - medicinal collyrium;Shalakaya - collyrium stick;
Chakshur - my eyes; oonmilitam - opened; yena - by whom;tasmai - to

ojosaplicando el divino colirio del Auto-Conocimiento a mis ojos,

Sustainer; Gurur - Guru; Devo - thedivine; Maheshwarah - the
Destroyer; Guru Sakshat - the Guru is verily; Para-Brahma -
thetranscendental divinity (which is the very basis of all the

Incluso vertiendo el charanamruta (agua con la que se limpian
los piesdel guru), somos bendecidos por la eterna prosperidad (del
conocimientoliberador), secndose el interminable ocano de la
bsqueda junto con suslgrimas. Mis saludos a sus Pies de Loto de ese

Na - There is no; Guror - than Guru; adhikam - higher; tattvam -

- penance; Tattva-gyanat-param - higher than theknowledge of truth

No hay Verdad ms alta que la del Guru, ninguna penitencia mayor
queel servicio al Guru, y nada ms alto que la Realizacin y el
Conocimiento de laVerdad que imparte el Guru. Mis saludos a ese
Guru-Dios, quin es en smismo la Verdad eterna (y quin ha tomado
para s una forma para bendecir asus discpulos como nosotros con el
Conocimiento real).
