The upper portion of the Yoke Sleeve is hexagonallytapered to fix the handwheel the standard material ofthe Yoke Sleeve is Nodular Ni-resist D2 with over 1150℃(2100˚F)dissolution point in accordance with API Std.specifications.

Bonnet studs and nuts are manufactured from alloy orstainless steel to the relevant ASTM standard.

The bonnet is in stainless steel. It is machined to acceptthe yoke sleeve and incorporates a stuffing boxdimesion in accordance with the API standard.

The stem is part of the trim. A stem is provided with a T-head. A ground backseat is provided to ensure perfectlytight seal to the stuffing box when the valve is fully open.The stem is ground to minimze friction and preventdamage to gland packing. The threading is trapezoidalACME type. Dimensions comply with the applicable standard.

The wedge is part of the trim. It is normally supplied asflexible. It is connected to the stem by means of a T-joint.Teh guides on each side of the wedge are casted forproper alignment with the body guides. Special attentionis given to the seating surface shich are ground and lapped to insure a perfectly tight seal.

The body is in cast stainless steel and is carefullydesigned in all its details. The basic dimension, i.e.wallthickeness, face to face and flanges comply with therelevant API and ANSI standards.The sealing surfacesfor connection to the bonnet are flat finish in the 150lbClass, recessed in the 300lb Class or may boring joint inthe 600lb Class and above. bosses may be provided fordrain taps or by-pass piping.
