GAYATRI VIDYA PARISHAD COLLEGE FOR

DEGREE AND PG COURSES (A) introduced MBA program

in the year 1995 with the aim of producing competent

management professionals to meet the requirements of the

corporate world. Since day one, the department has been

constantly striving to achieve excellence in the field of

management education by focusing on qualitative teaching.

The department has been successful in adopting innovative

methods of imparting management education and preparing

the students to meet the challenges of industry.

The department has been very fortunate in having

the expertise of several senior academicians and intellectuals

who have been instrumental in shaping the institution to its

present status with their vision and teaching. The department

boasts of experienced faculty and rich infrastructure with

facilities like smart classrooms, digital library, computer

centre, media centre, seminar halls, linguistic lab, etc.

In tune with the changing trends of the industry, the

department has been offering an open elective in Business

Analytics and is all set to introduce Digital Marketing,

Logistics - SCM and SAP to enable the students to excel in

their careers.

The involvement of alumni in supporting and providing

contributions voluntarily to their college is important for

its development. By establishing channels that can

facilitate closer ties between the alumni, students and

the college, it can provide crucial benefits in enriching

the student’s experience while being at the college.

With this background “Gayatri Vidya Parishad Post

Graduate Alumni Association” (GVPPGSAA) has been

formed and registered at Office of Registrar of Societies

in the city of Visakhapatnam on 7th April 2005 with the

following broad objectives:

• To share the experiences and knowledge among the

members.

• To provide valuable suggestions for the development

of the Institution.

• To help the Institution in the arrangement of summer

placement training and industrial visit for the

students.

• To carry on any activity of a charitable nature and of

general public utility.

• To guide the students by sharing the industry

experiences.
