GOD’S WORD

Each day we are bombarded with thousands of words. From the moment our clock radios click on in the morning, until the last moment of the day when the television is turned off or someone bids us “good-night,” our life is filled with words. Some words that we hear bring news that leaves us feeling low. Some words lift our spirits. Many of the words we hear are trying to get us to buy something. Some words are hurtful. Today the Church focuses our attention on hearing the word of God. Are God’s words just more of the same—part of the endless stream of words that flow into our ears each day? The challenge today is to allow God’s word to inspire us in new ways so that our outlook and attitudes align themselves more closely with the heart and mind of Christ Jesus.Copyright © J. S. AUTOMATIC BANK DRAFTING Each with his own gift, in proportion to the blessing

which the Lord, your God, has given to you. Deuteronomy 16:17

Giving is an act of prayer, offered in thanksgiving to a gracious God who has—in Christ—freely giving us all things. Join the 70 families who are using and loving this service to make their monthly contributions. You can rest assured that this service is safe. It is handled through our bank’s online banking system, which uses up to date security and anti-fraud verification systems. Forms are available at church as well as on our website for you to fill out, attach a voided check and return it to the church office by either placing it in a sealed envelope labeled “Automatic Bank Draft” and drop it in the collection at mass or mail it or bring it to our office.

Our aim is to carry out this mission through our strong tradition of faith and family, through a strong sacramental and liturgical life, through a total Catholic educational program, through a ministry to the social needs of the community and through evangelization.

MEETING FOR ENROLLMENT IN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION/SACRAMENTAL PREP PROGRAMS

Once again this summer there will be Religious Education Registration Meetings for the following Religious Education programs:

this, contact Jennifer LeJeune at [email protected] or 336-4463.

THANK YOU

The family of Delores C. Manchester acknowledges with grateful appreciation the many acts of kindness shown to them

during the passing of their loved one. They are especially grateful to the Bereavement Ministry for their kindness and

compassion during their time of sorrow. The family wishes to say “Thank You and May God Bless each of you.”

HOLY FAMILY’S BEREAVEMENT/HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

Holy Family's Bereavement/Hospitality Ministry has been active since 2012. This ministry provides meals/refreshments

as needed for our church parish. Most often we provide a meal for the immediate family (about 30 people) of a Holy

Family parishioner who has passed away, normally on the day of the funeral. We have also provided refreshments for

receptions in the church parish and most recently meals for Fr. David during his recuperation from knee surgery.

We have six (6) teams which are responsible for 2 months of each year with approximately 14 persons on each team.

Several of our teams have lost team members since 2012, so we are looking for new members. If you feel that this is a ministry you would like to be a part of, please contact Sue

Blanchard at 573-0919 or [email protected] you for your consideration.

TIRED OF BEING CONFINED? DESIRE SOME EXCITEMENT?

Fr. David is leading a Viking River Cruise on the Douro River in Portugal this November 2020. Portugal is a safe place and is open for business. The group will visit Fatima and the ship,

160 people total, cabins available. If you are

interested in taking this trip please contact

Fr. David.
