Even small, seemingly harmless animals can be aggressive. � Do not feed wildlife, or leave food behind � Give animals their space Observe from a distance and discourage them from coming closer � Larger mammals like bears should be left alone

    C A U T I O N : The TCT does not yet cross the Nanaimo River. A pedestrian-cyclist bridge to connect north and south stretches of the TCT within the RDN is planned. Until this TCT bridge is in place, trail users must go to Highway 1 to cross the Nanaimo River. Use Nanaimo River Rd and Spruston Rd to return to the TCT trailheads.
