About RIM@GT The Center for Robotics and Intelligent Machines at Georgia Tech is an interdisciplinary unit involving the College of Computing, College of Engineering and Georgia Tech Research Institute. The center was launched May 2006 to bring together the resources available at Georgia Tech. National Robotics Week National Robotics Week, the second full week in April, is dedicated to showcasing robotics activities throughout the United States. To this end, RIM@GT is hosting an open house for high school groups to expose the public to cutting edge robotics research conducted at Georgia Tech. Today’s Demos Today’s demos cover a wide range of challenges being tackled with robotic technology. These demos cover such fields as health care, material handling, social interaction, navigation, rescue, mapping, multi- agent cooperation, construction, and more.
