Blending the best of mid-century and Scandinavian design, Hado is an inspiring new lounge, bench and table collection from Encore that captures the essence of these definitive and on-trend styles. Equally relaxed and contemporary, the collection is characterized by subtle geometric lines and a refined design language that’s consistent across the full family of products.

Designed by Qdesign, Hado’s tailored yet casual aesthetic allows it to blend seamlessly within a wide variety of environments across the corporate, higher ed, healthcare, and hospitality markets. Its signature rounded wood leg and contoured form reflect Scandinavian elements, while the clean lines and overall functional simplicity give a nod to the modernism movement popular in the 1940’s – 60’s.

Lounge seating models include a fully upholstered lounge chair, love seat and sofa – all of which are characterized by gently rounded and generous proportions for lasting comfort. The gracious sit belies a modest footprint, however, with subtly flared arms that cradle the back cushion and simultaneously create a residential feel. Optional power units – also available on all models - ensure users can stay fully charged and engaged in the task at hand.

Hado benches continue the relaxed-modern sensibility of the series while lending a touch of understated elegance to lobbies, lounges and other informal gathering spaces. Available in rectangular and square shapes, and in various sizes, benches accommodate multiple or single occupants, while an accompanying 22-inch square ottoman is offered as a companion to lounge models.

Featuring a subtle beveled edge, tables are available with round, square and rectangular top shapes in a range of heights and sizes to accommodate both occasional and meeting requirements. Surface options include wood veneer, laminate, solid surface and white back-painted glass, making them a remarkably versatile choice that pairs equally well with the rest of the family or as a stand-alone offering.
