B&R Enclosures was founded byDick Bridges in 1955, specialising in sheet metal fabrication, including electrical enclosures for domestic metering applications.

With little capital but great enthusiasm for operating his own business and a determination to succeed, Dick commenced operations in his backyard in Adelaide, South Australia.

IThis family determination has seen B&R grow from a backyard operation to a multinational company with manufacturing plants in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Suzhou, China, 8 offices nationally and a network of international of distributors.
