Next year it will be 20 years! With your help, Roger and I began our Mission in 1998. And we launched a mission partnership with two churches in Mirebalais, Haiti: St. Pierre Episcopal Church and St. Louis Roman Catholic Church. We continue to support our Medical/Dental clinic and students at Ecole Presbyteral N.D. D’Altagrace Desvarrieux. We have helped to build schools, computer labs, and churches. We built an orphanage that was transformed into a very successful middle/high school that is now supported by other NGOs. Our annual Mission trip is now able to focus on Mobile Medical/Dental work that reaches out to those with the greatest need. This year we saw: Children (newborn thru 18) = 331; Adults = 312; Dental = 97 (exams=9; prophy=30; extractions = 55; fillings= 14). Fluoride to prevent tooth decay was administered to 1140 children. Your continuing financial support makes our work possible. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I ask for your support also for our members who have been to Haiti and have experienced various health challenges, including: Jim Schairbaum, HOM’s long-time secretary, who is battling oral cancer. Kate Messina is overcoming cancer with deep religious faith and family support. Chris Phanord has become well again after a health scare while in Haiti with us in April and is now in graduate school. Please pray for them and our other supporters who are experiencing health challenges. Dr. Dominique Monde-Matthews
