OperationLocated on the Bridger Teton National Forest, the Half Moon Lake Lodge operates under three Special Use Permits autho-rized by the Department of Agriculture and the U.S. National Forest. The Half Moon Lake Lodge is authorized to operate a restaurant and saloon, lodging, boat rentals, slip rentals, fish-ing, horseback riding, wilderness pack trips, hunting trips, and special events.Absolute auction, selling regardless of price - September 29th.

LocationHalf Moon Lake Lodge is located in the Wind River Mountain Range, within the Bridger Teton National Forest, in Western Wyoming. The Lodge is located approximately 9 miles north-east of the western community of Pinedale and approximately an hour and half from the resort community of Jackson Hole. Located along the shore of Half Moon Lake the lodge is ideal-ly situated to take advantage of the thousands of visitors who travel through the area.

Improvements

Lodge: The Main Lodge includes facilities for a full service restaurant and saloon, lakeshore patio, and fully equipped kitchen. The restaurant and patio provide seating for up to 120 guests. Newly renovated Half Moon Saloon features native wood finishings, a concrete bar top and new appliances. The Lodge currently operates under a full retail liquor license.

Cabins: Half Moon Lake Lodge includes eight guest cabins, all with lake views, private decks, private baths, coffee makers, refrigerators, and other guest amenities. Cabin 1 is a two bedroom and was originally built in 1965 and was renovated in 2000 and completely refurnished in 2013. Cabin 2 & 3 is a duplex built in 1985 and completely renovated in 2000. Cabin 4 & 5 is a duplex built in 2004 and is the largest of the duplexes. Cabin 6, 7, & 8 is a triplex built in 2003. Each sleeps 2-5 guests and have optionally connecting doors.

Horse facilities: A solid set of corrals, saddle shed and barn provides excellent facilities for trail rides, pack trips and the hunting camp to base out of. The horse operation is also supported by a 110 acre US Forest grazing allotment.

Cookout Site: Centered around a stocked fishing pond is a great location for cookouts, weddings, and other special events.

Marina: In addition to the gift shop the Lodge has a floating dock system to support up to 15 boat slips in various configurations, enabling the operation to offer boat rentals and seasonal boat slip rentals.
