The Board and Membership voted that our funding pledge in 2013‐14 would be a contribu on to the Annual Endowment and the CHOC Transport Team. The Team cares for thousands of pa ents a year and has a world‐class reputa on.
I am pleased to announce we will have a special speaker at our March mee ng – Dr. Jason Knight, who heads the CHOC Transport Team. Dr. Knight was named one of the “Top Doctors” in Pediatric Cri cal Care in Orange Coast Magazine for 2014. You will have the opportunity hear about an incredible success story in caring for the most fragile of CHOC Pa ents.
You won’t want to miss this special event, and the part that we can play in the survival of thousands of pa ents each year. This is also a great opportunity to invite friends that you think would be a great addi on to Li lest Angel Guild so that they can appreciate the personal impact of the work we do and the cause we support.

Special Note
Grab Bag Gifts Our fearless PY Grab Bag Team has set a goal for the number of Grab Bags we would like to have this year. To meet that goal we s ll need addi onal gi items to be used for the Pursenally Yours’ Grab Bags. Gi cer ficates, gi cards and event ckets are always great.
It is a perfect opportunity to be very PC and to be GREEN by RECYLING and RE‐GIFTING those wonderful but unused items we all have tucked away to benefit CHOC and the Children they serve.
As you know the Grab Bags have been a sold out highlight of the Pursenally Yours’ Luncheon each year. Please contact us if you have addi onal grab bag items and we make arrangements to get them. Please Note: We will need addi onal help with loading up the grab bags on Friday and unloading everything at the library early on Saturday for the set up and display.

It is March and we are planning for Home Tour 2014. This year’s Home Tour will be on Friday, October 17. If you are interested in serving on the Home Tour Commi ee this year, please let me know. We are looking for just the right homes for this year’s Tour and have several prospects. Please let me know if you have any ideas or contact.

Can you believe it? Daylight Savings, Pursenally Yours and St. Paddy’s Day are just around the cor‐ner. You know what that means . . . Longer Days, Baileys and we will all be to ng a new purse for the Easter Parade.
The underwri ng packet informa on is being re‐viewed and a dra of the changes will be sub‐mi ed for approval. Once it is approved the 2014 Underwri ng Partnership packets will be mailed to all previous underwriters as well as new contacts. A perfect case scenario would be to be able to have an underwriter for each of the cards.
A sign up sheet will be sent around at the March mee ng. If you know someone you think might be interested in suppor ng Kids’ Cards as an un‐derwriter, please let me know. Just give me the contact informa on for and I will contact them. We will have several levels of sponsorship again this year . . . any and all dona ons of support for this project is important and very much appreciat‐ed.
Thanks to our Guild Design Team, Annie, Denise, Kathy and Tricia. We have several new designs for the new collec on.

Stephanie Giamela, Patricia Reas, Judi Graichen, Linda Dunn, Valerie Rakowski and Connie Hutcheson are all serving on the Purse‐nally Yours Commi ee. Some will be modeling, some will be working to set‐up and oversee auc on du es and some of them have purchased tables for the event.
