All processes and testing facilities are fully calibrated and certified traceable to national standards.Our Company operates with BS EN ISO 9002:1994 accreditation.We are working towards BS EN ISO 9001:2000, ISO 16949 & ISO 14001.

Laboratory :

• Inspection and laboratory capabilities include hardness testing, tensile testing, torque testing, case depth measurement,metallurgical examination,MPI crack detection,magnetic bridge sorting facilities and material investigations.(Charpy, Izod, Full Tensile Testing, Carbon Level Testing can be subcontracted by arrangement).

• Sectioned components showing pattern and case depth can be supplied with each batch on request.

• Inspection Certificate / Certificate of Compliance is available on request.

• IPSEN batch furnaces with standard and accelerated oil quench facilities.Atmosphere control by closed loop oxygen probe sensors.

• Furnace chamber sizes are:

(Actual working dimensions are marginally less depending on fixturing technique).

• CAN-ENG continuous meshbelt atmosphere furnace line with oil quench facility.The Can-Eng unit is computer controlled and offers complete process traceability.

• SECO-WARWICK continuous meshbelt furnace with oil quench facility.Process is computer controlled and process data is tracked within the system offering complete traceability.

• Processes include Carburising,Carbonitriding, Carbon Restoration,Neutral Hardening and Tempering.

• Typical products are screws, bolts, nuts,washers, pressings,machined and cold-formed components.

• Product sizes range from 2.2mm diameter fasteners to 25mm diameter bolts,maximum lengths 180mm.

• Solid state and motor generator MEDIUM FREQUENCY consists of 10 kilohertz x 150 kw power sources.

• SHAFT HARDENING maximum length 2.4 metres, maximum diameter 300mm,maximum component weight is 200 kilograms.

• GEAR HARDENING (SPIN HARDEN)maximum diameter 700mm, maximum gear face width 150mm.
