Hand Saves – Paddle Work

• Gk should be in ready position as explained previously

• As the ball comes in, Gk will use the decision making skill o being a goalkeeper to determine which glove to use !paddle or stick

side"

• #nce decided you will save the ball by controlling it with your gloves or stick, cushion the shot in the air and immediately bring it

down by bending the relevant elbow in the direction o the side lines
