Pre-Service Activity: Ask the kids to be in their group and let them hearthe Books of the Bible Rap song, and later tell them that we will have timeto learn and memorize the Books of the Bible.

Materials:Sour candies, sweet candies, cookies (different things that the kids couldtaste)Blind fold

Instructions:1. Get 3 volunteers per age group2. Blind fold them3. Get kids from the crowds to describe bad things about the candy

or things that they would eat.4. Ask them if they still want to taste it.

A. People may affect the way we give to God1. Others would say bad things and others would say good

things2. It will affect us if we will still give or not give

INCREDIBLE FACTS The Bible is divided into 2 Testament. Do you know what these are? (Letthe children respond) Old and New Testament. There are 39 books in the

Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament. Would you want toknow how you can easily remember this? (Let the kids respond).

It’s simple. How many letters are there in the word OLD (3 – let thechildren response)? How about the word TESTAMENT – (9 – Let thechildren response)? Now let’s combine put 3 and 9 together, what numberdo we have? 39, so there are 39 books in the Old Testament.

How about the New Testament? This is how we would do it. If you multiply3 and 9 what will be the product? 27 so there are books in the New

Testament

BIBLE STORY Materials needed: Posters containing the memory verse which can be

made by the kids before the class starts. Headbands made of paper withone verse each. Bible basis of the story is in Deut. 31:11-12; 32:46. In thestory assign kids who will be your actors.

Here it goes. The children in the Bible times really know the Word of Godor the Bible. As early as 7-years old they have memorized the Torah orthe Law. They were able to learn it because in their homes, their fatherand their mother tell them stories about the Bible, they recite it every dayand every evening. They would even go to school just to learn the Bible. They also have small Bible that they put in their head, they also write it intheir doors, so that they will not forget but remember it. The childrenthere play but most of the time they help their parents with the chores,

they tend sheep, build boats and homes, while they are helping they areagain learning about the word of God.
