HANDS-ONIMPLANT SURGICAL &

RESTORATIVE COURSE

This 2-day comprehensive training course includes all the latest surgical and restorative aspects of dental implants. The course is taught at the state of the art Zimmer Biomet clinical simulation lab in Carlsbad, CA. World renowned faculty have developed this course for both beginners and seasoned clinicians looking at introducing or accelerating their implant practice. Attendees will learn and perform immediate implants, socket and ridge augmentation and sinus grafting. Restorative procedures ranging from single-tooth to multiple implants will be taught and performed. This course is limited to 25 participants!

Dr. Bhola is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and received his D.D.S. from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and his certificate and M.S.D. in Periodontics and Implantology from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Bhola is the former Director of Post-Graduate Periodontics and has been practicing Clinical Periodontics and Implant Dentistry for the past seventeen years. His areas of interest include dental implants, oral plastic surgery and advanced bone and soft tissue grafting for teeth and implants. He is the author and developer of the new and innovative LipStaT® procedure for correcting a gummy smile.Dr. Bhola is a world renowned speaker and educator. He lectures and conducts several training courses in periodontics and implantology for dentists and specialists from all over the world and has several publications in leading dental journals. He is the recipient of the prestigious Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellowship award given by the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation and is a member of the OKU Nu Nu Chapter, a National Honor Dental Society. In his free time Dr. Bhola enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, watching movies and reading.

Michael Sonick, DMD, is an internationally-known, highly-regarded authority in the field of dental implantology and periodontology. He completed his undergraduate degree at Colgate University. He received his DMD at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and his certificate in periodontology at Emory University. He received his implant training at Harvard University as well as the Branemark Clinic in Gothenburg, Sweden.A full time practicing periodontist in Fairfield, Connecticut, he is also a frequent guest lecturer in the international program at New York University School of Dentistry and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He lectures worldwide on the subject of esthetic implants, periodontal plastic surgery, guided bone regeneration and comprehensive treatment planning. He is the co-editor of the multi-language textbook, Implant Site Development. He serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals including the Compendium of Continuing Education and the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Inside Dentistry, Dentistry Today and also writes and publishes numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the Leading Dental Centers of the World and a Master in DSD (Digital Smile Design). He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Dr. Gurun earned his DMD and Prosthodontic training at the University of Istanbul, Turkey. He remained on faculty at the University as an assistant professor while also maintaining a private practice. Dr. Gurun completed a fellowship program in Prosthodontics at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He spent four years teaching as a full time faculty member there in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, also maintaining his faculty practice. Dr. Gurun joined the UDM Prosthodontic Department in 2001 and also received his U.S. DDS degree from the same institution. He has published both abstracts and articles mostly related to clinical techniques. He is also active in a number of professional associations. Dr. Gurun’s practice is limited to prosthetic and restorative dentistry including crown and bridge, implants, removable dentures, cosmetic dentistry and operative procedures.

Dr. Michael Linebaugh has been practicing dental implant dentistry and providing dental implant education for over twenty-five years. His passion is to unravel the mysteries involved with the placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Linebaugh’s educational background includes a DDS at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He also completed a Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Detroit for prosthodontic treatment of children with cleft lip and palate and craniofacial defects. In addition, he studied sculpture at the University of Windsor, Canada and the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit Michigan.Dr. Linebaugh has been practicing dentistry for a total of 40 years starting with a general dental practice for eighteen years followed by a prosthodontic practice for eight years. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry and has been a staff prosthodontist at the Veterans Hospital in Detroit for 20 years. He is currently at the Grand Rapids Michigan VA where he specializes in the restoration of complicated dental implant patients
