TASK 1: Digital Video

• Go to the internet and use Bing to search for 10 images which reflect your project idea or that you might want to incorporate into your project.

• Create a folder on the desktop with your name and save these images into that folder.

• Open Windows Live Movie Maker.• Follow the instructions on how to create your

video.• Make sure to include titles and text.• Add music, effects and transitions to your video.• Save your video to your USB drive.

TASK 2: Video (enhanced)

• Use the images from Task 1 to create a collage using Microsoft Research AutoCollage 2008

• Import your collage into the video created in Task 1

TASK 3: Exploration

• Visit www.bing.com and sign in with your Windows Live ID.

• Go to “Maps.”• Click on “See your places” in the bottom left of

the page.• Create a “New list” for a journey you want to

create.• Add “Pushpins” to create markers to visit.• Insert information linked with each push-pin.• Create a tour and 3D video (optional activity).

TASK 4: OneNote

• Create a new notebook.

• Capture some clippings from the internet and drag into OneNote.

• Add a audio or video recording into notebook (optional).

• Share your notebook with other students.

TASK 5: Sharing

• Create a Word document with 5 things that you found useful today and your ideas on how you could incorporate into them into your teaching/project development.

• You can share this information in either of 2 ways:

• Sign into Office Live Workspace and upload your document and share with your colleagues.

• Upload your Word document to the PiLN and invite other community members for comments.
