SPECIAL MEETING JANUARY 9, 6PM- CLUBHOUSE
Dear MCC Members
AsIsitandpreparethisletter,Ican’thelpbutreflectonthepastyearatMCC.WehavehadsomanythingshappenandIthoughtIwouldreminiscealittle.
Everythingseemedtobegoingwelluntilthe“floodofthecentury”hitusthelastdayofthe4-ball.With15ftofwaterflowingthroughourbacknine,wehadtorearrangeourpriorities.Itwasgreattoseesomanypeopleouthelpingcleanupafterthewaterreceded.Thankyouagaintoallwhohelped. Wehadnewfencesputuparoundthemaintenanceareas,cartbarnremodeled,swimmingpoolareapainted,aswellasnewchimneycapsonourclubhouse.Wegavethefoyeroftheclubhouseamuchneededfacelift.WeupdatedthenewadditionintheclubhousewithTVsandpictures.Wetrimmeddozensoftrees;weclearedtheswampareaaround13. Wemadechangestoourstaffandwegotuniformsfortheclubhousestaff,justtonameafew.Andwedidmuchofthesewithoutspendingverymuchmoney.Wedidn’tallagreetothechangesthatweremadeandruffledafewfeathers,butonethingaboutMCCiswealldowhatwethinkisbestforthebettermentoftheclub.Iwanttothankeveryonewhodonatedtimeandmoneytotheimprovementsoverthepastyear.Withoutthehelpofourmembers,MCCwouldnotbewhereitistoday.Lookingforwardto2020,Iamexcitedtoseewhatwecandoasaclub.Hopefully,wecanputourdifferencesasideandkeepimprovingourclub/MCC.ThisnewBODiscommittedtocontinuingtoattractandretainmembersandactinginthebestinterestofMCC.Ithankyouallforyoursupportandprayeachofyouhaveablessedandprofita150bleNewYear.

We are working on another exciting tournament/event schedule for you in 2020. MWGA News
We welcome 2020 with anticipation of a great year of golf! If you are not a member of MWGA consider getting involved and playing golf with women who love the sport and like to have a good time.
Not only do we enjoy golf we also enjoy working together on different projects around the club. We work with Lance to meet his needs on the course, the MGA, the club house, the ladies locker room and various charities. We will begin our regular play days the first Wednesday in March with lunch following play. Please contact Sandy Carpenter if you are interested in joining us.
