    Rail bridge opened on July 1st, 1916

    Roadways opened Sept 17th

    , 1917. Bridge is 4,972 feet long.

    A 14 ft wide roadway was cantilevered from the bridge,

    auto traffic crossed the river from 1917 to 1949. 6

    greenway will connect to existing roads below the bridge.
