Hari Om Dear Members,

I have pleasure to present the Annual Report of our Trust for the year ending 31st March 2010. We always have the meeting on the first Saturday of January which was on 9th January 2010 at Jaslok Hospital, Bombay. Our Trustees, Patrons, Members, & Committee Members from all our Centers come for the meeting; here we share each others views and experiences which helps other center to implement schemes to improve the working of the center.

Our committee members at the various Centers are the main people who make all efforts to reach out to the poor community people living in slum areas of Agra, Ajmer, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bikaner, Bhilwara, Chittogarh, Jaipur, Nagpur, Rajkot, Udaipur, & Vadodara and make sure that the people are helped in whatever manner they need from the Trust. This year we have re-started our center at Gandhidam . Every year we try and add new scheme to the objectives of our Trust, so that the people can earn and support their families respectfully.

SOFT LOAN SCHEME This helps the beneficiary to purchase raw material or any instrument which will increase his/her income.

This has been extended for purchase of Handcarts, Bicycle, Sewing machine, and also other necessary household items like gas connections, fans, iron bed, electric connections and blankets on installment basis.

In some center depending upon the status of the family, fees for learning various courses like Computer Course, Sewing, Embroidery, and Beautician are also given on loan basis. Many have benefited from this scheme and have started their own small business and are operating from their house.

Initially all these amounts were given free, but this is now provided either by taking some amount back from the beneficiary or on installment basis so that they feel proud and feel the responsibility of earning and returning the money back to the Trust.

This year nearly Rs.2, 37,000/- has been given to 66 people who have benefited from this scheme.
